James 5:16 Let Me Tell You My Sins

James 5:16

16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. A prayer of a righteous person, when it is brought about, can accomplish much.

As Christian is the same church denomination since 2002, I have heard many words of dislike against another church member many times. I have been on the receiving end of loving treatment but also receive some very unkind treatment.  I try not hold any grudges against anyone and offer my forgiveness but at the same time even if I did nothing wrong , I hear no reason why treatment took place, just dead silence. When people go to church and become comfortable with everyone, it can feel like home and they will let their guard down or true self come out. Just like a young couple who start to flirt then date. The boy and girl will wear their best clothes, smell their best, have perfect manners, open car doors or help the girl seat down, even buy a dozen roses. They will lose up in the presence of each other and might not try to smell so nice or see each other with messy hair and that is okay if they have true love for each other. But family isn’t someone you try to date and most of the time, church family is people who may see once or twice a week. People will be people no matter where, and if they dislike a person because their behavior isn’t something they approve of, it is very easy for them to tell someone who they might feel is on the same side. In John chapter 8, a group of religious leaders throw a young lady who is caught in act adultery, she is mostly likely naked or near it. They tell Jesus this woman is a whore and deserves to die according to the laws of God. Jesus is silent of a minute and say  this;

John 8:7  When they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.

If you truly love your brother and sisters in Christ, confess your to him or her if you did some mistreatment to them. If you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing to anyone. If you don’t really like someone that much, don’t go to that church or any church, if you can’t practice love and grace. I love all my church family, even the ones who have mistreated me. Cause  I know if they must go to church if they have a desire to love God  to wanna worship Him. But for some reason they have measured up to the standard of who they want me to be. I like the Mother Teresa quote and I have used it a few times, If you judge people, you have no time to love them.  Mother Teresa

Dear brothers and sisters don’t mistreat your church family and to add to that just don’t mistreat anyone, you call yourself a Christian and by Christ name, you love everyone just as much as He did, or you love you have for Jesus is meaningless. God bless you all , Jesus loves you and so does the true body Christ. Samuel Head

Nehemiah 1:6 listen to my prayer! Look down and see me praying night and day for your people Israel. I confess that we have sinned against you. Yes, even my own family and I have sinned!
