Song of Solomon 8:7 He Loves Me, Yes
“Many waters cannot quench love, Nor will rivers overflow it; If a man were to give all the riches of his house for love, It would be utterly despised.”
Many years ago in the late 1990’s, before I became a Christian , I was a restaurant back of house worker/or kitchen staff. The waitresses would gather while waiting on food to be put up and I would hear their conversations. Valentine’s Day was coming and a pretty waitress was complaining how she hated Valentine’s Day, cause she was single and never got a gift . So I said to her, ‘ I will buy you, a dozen roses if you buy me a bottle of Jack Daniels’ she immediately said Yes. So when February 14 came I gave her the rose and she gave me my whiskey , we were both happy , but my liquor probably lasted longer, after her rose fail apart. On this Valentine’s Day, the Lord offers Himself as Valentine’s and wants to make an exchange of a promise, to your lover, not just for February 14, but for eternity. The Lord already loves you, He proves it when he gives you life. He desires you to be His Valentine’s. When He becomes your true lover, His eyes won’t wonder or His heart won’t fall out of love, He won’t leave you or divorce you. Lionel Richie, is popular because of his amazing love songs, I used to write cheesy love letters listening to them, he quotes, everyone wants to hear the words, ‘ I love you’ The Holy Bible, is a love song, full of amazing lyrics, where the Lord repeats Himself, ” I love you , I love you . He extends His heart to you today and ask will you be His Valentine, will you say, yes I do. God bless you all, Jesus loves you and so do I. Samuel H.
Song of Solomon 5:8 Swear to me, you daughters of Jerusalem If you find my beloved, As to what you will tell him: For I am lovesick.”
