Revelation 17:7-8 Uncle Sam’s Mark
Angels of the Lord are messengers from God, just like prophets and, more so, as the Holy Bible. If a person is wondering what God’s prophetic word means, he or she must ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. Many who do not know the spiritual meaning of biblical words, such as beast, soul, spirit, sign, mark, nation, flesh, heart, and mind, might be confused or lost. The woman in Revelation is a false church. The Antichrist, the beast she is riding, is government power. Religion and government powers of the world are two things that have existed ever since creation. God’s word ruled the Physical nation of Israel but rarely did they trust and obey. During Christ’s earthly ministry, the Roman Empire ruled a large part of the world. After Christ’s death and resurrection and with the growth of Christianity, the Roman Empire became the Holy Roman Empire, it controlled most of the same but in a religious way. The word abyss in the ancient world meant the deep parts of the ocean. Even in modern times, the ocean blue has deep waters called abyss, some so deep, no human eyes have ever seen it. The explorer Christopher Columbus discovered the American continent by accident. He was looking for a different easier route from Europe to India. So out of nowhere on the Atlantic ocean, Columbus, find the land of America, and the rest is history. No other nation is as young and influential as the USA. President George Washington said the hand of God must have helped American win the war of independence because the British Empire was a mighty nation. Many Europeans came to America for a new start and many for religious freedom; sadly, they also bought African slaves, with them. Many sought religious freedoms as part of the protestant movements. These are Christian who do not accept the papal church’s false teaching, they label the pope the Antichrist. The USA was the country where Roman Catholic Christianity did not start until years later. Nevertheless, Catholic false teaching and tradition exist in the New World, America. Religious pagan holidays, like Christmas. Easter, Good Friday, and the first day of the week Sabbath day still exist in the USA. These Pagan Religious Festival are embraced, that even the non-religious world celebrate them. Many Christians will say, do not say X-mas, and please do not remove Christ from Christmas, when He never was. Even recently, I saw, Christmas commercial, of a homosexual Santa Claus. America is the land of opportunity and freedom, but with sins more widely accepted, and to call it to sin, is called hate. The USA is so influential that even the Roman Catholic Church, is bending its teachings. People who worship the beast want God and religion, but not the relationship part, loving God and keeping His word. They depend too much, on government power, for citizenship benefits, so money, food, housing, education, or military protection. So if and when the world and life get tougher, many people will ask for and accept Uncle Sam’s help more the Almighty Lord. They will say help me buy and sell, please Uncle Sam, I beg you.
