John 1:14 Daddy Keeps His Word
Have you ever seen a New Testament only church, or see a Bible that was only a New Testament Bible and might have the book of Psalm and Proverb included with it? The New Testament is outstanding but not complete without the Old Testament. These thirty-nine books are in the Old Testament. Broken in into two parts, the Tanakh with the Torah as the first five books of Moses. The Old Testament is in Hebrew, but the books of Ezra, Jeremiah, and Daniel will have a little Aramaic, which is the language of Jesus when He prayed saying “Abba Father.” The word Abba is an intimate word but does not mean, “Daddy,’ as many believe, but still intimate.
Jesus, in His prayer, the night before He is nailed to the cross, asks His Father God in a personal, “the suffering I am about to endure, but Abba Father, I will obey your word. John chapter 1, says Jesus is the word, was the word and He will always be the word. Jesus came into the world, as Immanuel (God with Us), to teach and show who God is. Abba’s Father is full of grace as a loving daddy, and a good father is a good and excellent model for his children, and how does he do that? A good father lives his life, in a pleasant if children obey him, then the household is a good, wonderful home. If a child is rebellious, then home is not so happy anymore. Many studies have shown the children that do not have a loving father at home, with a loving wife as the mother, children grow with more problems and sometimes become criminals.
The Old Testament has two parts, the Torah, books of Moses, (the Law, then the words of the Prophets. Jesus, the Messiah’s birth, is a fulfillment of those words, and according to John chapter 1:14, Jesus is God’s word in living flesh. So, the only begotten Son of the Father came into the world, to say, “Here I am, live like me, if you want to know the word and get to know, Father God, to have a graceful, intimate relationship, with Him.” God bless you, all, Jesus loves you, and do I.
