Revelation 19:8 Unforsaken Bridal Mark

Revelation 19:8

It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

No matter how my family and friends worship God, I still love them. My sister Sandra believes in God, but she loves her family more. As for going to church, my sister Sandra does not go. My brother, I know he believes in God, but going to church, he does not. However, he attends church when he and his family visit my mother. He is a very devoted father with lovely children. My younger sister, Susie’s relationship with others is more important than any relationship with God. She asks for prayers when times are tough. As for going to church, she goes if someone dear to her passes away. She will also point to the behavior of other Christians as a reason not to go to church. Her favorite target is my stepsister April Adams. April attends church every Sunday, raises her hand high, sings songs, and says Amen! April lives a lie, and she lies to benefit her living arrangement. Suppose she did not; her husband, Jerome Adams, whose a horrible father, would be homeless. Recently my lovely niece Brittany shared a post on Facebook. Apparent a young mother with to church, and she had difficulty with her two children. The mother talks about how unwelcome the church members had made her feel. But the mother said she needs Jesus, and so do her children so that they will return to church. Brittany told me she no longer goes to church because she felt judged by the members, especially by the pastor. Revelation 19:8 reflects the New Cloth on the Old Garment parable Jesus told in Matthew 9:15-16, Mark 2:21, and Luke 5: 36 . The parable story instructs a child of God that they must put away their old self and put on the newness of Christ. By doing so, they reflect the image of Christ and are less like their former self. The bride in Revelation 19:8-9 is an image of born-again followers of Christ. They have repented, surrendered their will to the Lord, and allowed Him to clothe them with His righteousness. They let their light shine for the Lord in how they love Him and others. They do not love their families, friends, jobs, or even themselves more than they love God. Now yes, not all people who attend church are Christian. Conversely, a person who does not attend assemblies with others is not a Christian. That is disobedient to God’s word, Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more than you see the day drawing near. If a future bride shows any effort, she enjoys spending quality time with her future husband. He may wonder if she loves him. She needs to learn about his ways and what he is interested in. A born-again person with Christ is supposed to put away the old self and begin a new Christ-like self. This happens not only if a person still hangs on to their old self and sinful habits. New garments are very flexible; they have been worn and washed several times. The Lord’s way is already perfect. When we are born again, we do not make our ways flexible with God’s ways. The foundation of God’s word does not change; it does not matter who you or I or anyone feels or believes. So, at the end of this sinful age, only those who allow themselves to be clothed by the Lord’s righteousness will be welcomed to His heavenly kingdom. They gather with Him at the lavish wedding banquet and feast with the Bridegroom, Jesus Christ. God bless you all; I hope you are a part of the bride of Christ, the church that loves you, and so do I, His humble bondservant, Samuel Jerry Head.

Matthew 9:15 And Jesus said to them, “The attendants of the groom cannot mourn as long as the groom is with them, can they? But the days will come when the groom is taken away from them, and then they will fast. 16 But no one puts a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch, pulls away from the garment, and a worse tear result.

Isaiah 61:8 For I, the Lord, love justice, I hate robbery in the burnt offering, and I will faithfully give them their recompense and make an everlasting covenant with them. 9 Then their offspring will be known among the nations, and their descendants in the midst of the peoples. All who see them will recognize them Because they are the offspring whom the Lord has blessed. 10 I will rejoice greatly in the Lord, My soul will exult in my God; For He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. 11 For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up, So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
