Revelation 18:16-19 The Rebel Mark

Revelation 18:16-19

16 saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, she who was clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls; 17 for in one hour, such great wealth has been laid waste!’ And every shipmaster and every passenger and sailor, and all who make their living by the sea, stood at a distance, 18 and were crying out as they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What city is like the great city?’ 19 And they threw dust on their heads and were crying out, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had ships at sea became rich from her prosperity, for in one hour she has been laid waste!’

The American Civil War started on April 12, 1861, and ended on May 9, 1865. They were basically Americans against Americans, brother against brother, father against son, or family against family. The American Civil War killed more Americans than any war in the nation’s history. But when the Civil War was over, the civilians of the Confederate States were dead broke. The reason, when southern states of America secede, from the United States, they stop using the US dollar and started printing their own currency. The Confederate States had its own president, the capital city, and a military with an army and navy. When  General Robert E Lee surrendered to Ulysses S Grant, the war was over, and the Confederacy had absolutely nothing. Some citizens of the Confederate States, like Jesse James and his family, turn to crime for their provision.  The Lord made mankind, both male in female, to worship and serve Him. They rebel against what they were made for and this is a civil war between them and God. The Holy Bible says God should be your master. If you try to be flexible with your relationship with God, trying to share Him with love for money or lust, you will end up bankrupt and dead, stinking without salvation. The Confederate Battle flag is a symbol of hate and slavery for many. If you are disobedient, He sees 666 on your heart to the Lord Almighty. The lesson we should learn from the American Civil War and those who rebel against God is that you will lose everything and be a shipwreck when you do so. God bless you all, if you have not turned to the Lord, and asked Him to be the Master of your life, please do so. Jesus the Lord loves you and so do I, His bondservant, Samuel Jerry Head.

Isaiah 24:20 The earth trembles like a heavy drinker And sways like a hut, For its wrongdoing is heavy upon it, And it will fall, never to rise again. 21 So it will happen on that day, That the Lord will punish the rebellious angels of heaven on high, And the kings of the earth on earth. 22 They will be gathered together Like prisoners in the dungeon, And will be confined in prison; And after many days they will be punished.
