Revelation 14:13 The Blessed Death Mark

Revelation 14:13

And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.”

The Heavenly Father loves His children, and when they die, for their love for Him, it hurts His heart. Abel was the first to be a martyr for his love of God. The Lord knew the moment Abel was murdered, for Abel’s spirit, or the breath of God left Abel’s body and return to the Lord (Genesis 2:7, Job 33:4, Isaiah 42:5, Acts 17:25, Daniel 5:23 and Ezekiel 37:5-6). Blessed are those who died for their faith and the work they did for the Lord. The word blessed means, same as holy, set aside, or to be set apart. The best way to explain this, by the subject of the seventh-day sabbath, sure there are 7 days within a weekly cycle, but only one day was made holy or made sanctified.

Genesis 2:2  By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day, he rested from all his work. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

Many people have fear of death, or the pain one experiences while being assaulted. It doesn’t matter if like Cain killing his brother with a rock, or stones being thrown at Stephen or the Christian who is persecuted in our present age. The children of God, have always suffered great tribulation even since sin ruled the world. Even when the saints of God are dead, their testimony lives on, while their physical bodies are in the grave, (Sheol) the spiritual way they lived, is living in God’s word and speaking to me and you. Hebrews 11, is the chapter is called the champions of faith, all of them are dead and even died without receiving the promise, they were hoping for and the Lord, told them, they would receive it.

Hebrews 11:13  All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.

The whole Bible or word of God is about two different advents or coming of the Messiah, one as He is born as a child, the Son of God as the Son of Man, Immanuel, (Isaiah 7:10-14 and Matthew 1:23), to be God with us, and die for man’s sins, the Holy Lamb of God. Many people were looking forward to the first advent of Christ, a man named Simeon, who was given a promise from God. So Simeon trusted the promise of God, that he will not pass away in the see, the promised Messiah, Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 2:25 And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking forward to the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

Simeon’s relationship with God was closed when Mary and Joseph to be circumcised, the Holy Spirit of God, lead Simeon, your Messiah is here in this temple. So Simeon took the baby Jesus in his hands, saying I am so blessed to know God keeps His promise and he was ready to depart and die, ‘cause he felted blessed. Simeon knew the God of love is the God of salvation, God is Lord of all people Simeon said Israel and Gentiles, Simeon proclaims. Simeon even gave prophetic words, to Jesus’ parents, all who love, everyone who loves Him will die but in the end, everyone will know who His and they will know it in their thoughts and hearts. Luke 2:29 “Now Lord, You are releasing Your bond-servant to depart in peace, According to Your word; 30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation, 31 Which You have prepared in the presence of all peoples, 32 A Light of revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”33 And His father and mother were amazed at the things which were being said about Him. 34 And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is appointed for the fall and [b]rise of many in Israel, and for a sign to be opposed— 35 and a sword will pierce even your own soul—to the end that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.”
