Revelation 13:3-6 Not So Holy Mark

Revelation 13:3-6

3 I saw one of his heads as if it had been fatally wounded, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; 4 they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?” 5 A mouth was given to him speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.

As the Roman Empire was declining the Holy Roman Empire began to takes it replaces it. Men who labeled the pope took the place of the emperor, so what was once a secular government had become a religious type ruling power. Many historians of world and church history will agree there was nothing holy about the Roman empire, cause there was plenty of oppression and warfare that continued.  There were only Christian churches, but they had hidden from the Holy Roman Empire or else they would be persecuted. The Roman church kept the Bible is used in the Latin language and services were done the same way. Holy Bible was outlawed for common people and if a person had questions, only a catholic priest could give an answer and without knowledge of God’s word, a priest could tell and lie and the listener had no choice but believe. The separation began the age of reformation start and Martin Luther nailed 95 theses to a catholic church door, which were a list of lies that the Roman church we practicing and teaching. As the holy word became available in different languages like German and English, many learn the Pope’s church was and is teaching an anti-christ message. All of Europe was under the control of the Holy Roman Empire, of course, there were kings and queens of Spain, Germany, French, and England. Battles and bloodshed were almost none-stop, for the church trying to gain more territory and if the authority of the Pope was denied, a person was arrested or killed. After over a thousand years of rule, the Holy Roman Empire had come to its rule as government power, when  Napoléon Bonaparte had to proclaim himself emperor of the French empire. Like I said before warfare had existed all during the Holy Empire’s reign, but as Napolean power grew, On July 6, 1809, his military invade Rome,  and arrest Pope Pius VII and have him locked up. Actually, Napolean had two different popes arrested and locked up, in 1796 was arrested but died as a prisoner, and with and pope arrested years later by the same man, it had proven, the pope was only a title and not really God on earth. The Holy Roman Empire had collapsed after, of course, the Catholic church was and is a denomination of the Christain church.  The Roman Church was no longer controlling  European countries as it did before, it was like cut off the head of the poisonous snake. The Holy Catholic church still wants some admittance, the reformer Martin Luther was completely wrong, and in some ways, most of the protestant churches still keep and practices a lot of pagan traditions the Roman Church started, and only by study of all of God’s word can a believer in Christ know what His word and what is false.
