Proverbs 7:4-5 Sisters and Brothers of Wise Love

Proverbs 7:4-5

4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call understanding your intimate friend, 5 So that they may keep you from an adulteress, From the foreigner who flatters with her words.

I have 3 sisters and 1 brother and I love them all, I have many nephews and nieces and I love them also. We all believe in God, I am not sure about their relationship with the Lord or don’t know if they read God’s word daily ( eating their daily bread ), but I do know they don’t attend church or have a church family. Brothers and sisters are awesome to have, being part of a loving family is one of God’s gifts He give His children, ( brother and sisterly love). In my youth, I used to make fun of my sister, Sandra, and how she gives orders or directions like my mother, but it is normal for children to act and behave like their parents. When looking for a partner to share a life with, have a family with, our mother and father are usually the role models we go by, a man wants a wife who is like his mother and likewise for a woman, a husband like her father. A sister’s love is genuine ( real ) and adulteress love is fake and she only wants to benefit herself. King Solomon wrote about how a relationship with a wife is intimate or is close as a sister, full of enchantments.

Song of Solomon 4:9 You have enchanted my heart, my sister, my bride; You have enchanted my heart with a single glance of your eyes, With a single strand of your necklace. 10 How beautiful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much sweeter is your love than wine, And the fragrance of your oils Than that of all kinds of balsam oils! 11 Your lips drip honey, my bride; Honey and milk are under your tongue, And the fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon.

I have 3 sisters, 2 of them don’t have a relationship with each other, but both belief in God and believe in His Son Jesus Christ. They visit my mother at different times to avoid each other, this includes holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter, all of which are religious holidays. One holiday to give thanks to God, one holiday to remember the gift of Jesus’ birth, and a holiday to remember Christ defeated death by rising from dead which by all salvation is available to all who love God and love others. I know a lot of people have dysfunctional families, Christian, and non-Christians, and within a family unit, hate to exist but again these people who believe in the same God, hope to one day living the same kingdom of heaven with all of God’s family who will all love each other but still yet don’t love each other on earth. When Jesus teaches His children how to pray at the sermon on the mount in Matthew chapter 6,  He says this, “ Our Father, who is in heaven, ]Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.’  For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses. Let’s be completely honest with other brothers and sisters in Christ, should a child of God have real love in their heart of all humanity? Should love be self-serving, should children of God hold grudges against others, and not even try to have a relationship with each other but then have a holiday celebration for the Son of God, whose love a person can’t share the love with others, not even showing any mercy, grace or love. Are people who say they believe in God, really showing they are wise in His words of love or are they showing they are foolish and know more about love self, which is the definition of sin. I love my brother and sisters, and I love all of my family, I pray for them and I want them to have a loving relationship with the Lord Jesus and to love each other cause hate is more deadly than the COVID-19, and no mask or vaccine will help. Only loving God and others,  which fulfill His commandments, cause His law is love, not hate. God bless you all, the Lord Jesus, God of love cares for you and so do I. Samuel J H

Galatians 5:13 3 For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love. 14 For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

1 John 4:19  We love, because He first loved us. 20 If someone says, “I love God,” and yet he hates his brother or sister, he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother and sister whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 And this commandment we have from Him, that the one who loves God must also love his brother and sister.

The Cauley family moved to the Portland, ME to take on new ministry roles this last February. The apartment in which they were residing was recently destroyed by fire. The loss was catastrophic. Every little bit will help get them back on their feet.  https://gofund.me/b9fe0bac
