Proverbs 6:19 God Loves A Good Witness

Proverbs 6:19

A false witness who declares lies, and one who spreads strife among brothers.

A person’s name, character, reputation, and honor are everything, the Lord totally hates if someone tells lies or gives false information about someone else. This is really childish behavior and normally happens among young people or teenagers when they started dating. Young boys will brag about what girls he is having a relationship with, even lies bragging how intimate the relationship is. Rumors start to spread around the school and even around the community, and the girl’s name or reputation might be what she wants or even true. The seven sins that God hates are about the relationship the children of God have with each other and He never wanted us to harm or hate one another. God is love and all He asks that we love each other, being honest about someone’s character is love, but being a false witness and telling lies about satisfying ourselves and wanted more love for our own name. Another English translation of the scripture says, do not stir up conflict in the community, sows discord in a family, soweth discord among brethren. It is really sad when family hurt each other and most sins that happen are within a family unit, and overall you may have the same last name or bloodline flowing through each other’s hearts. Notice who Peter is, tell Jesus who has sinned against him and how many times Peter should forgive that person who sinned against him.

Matthew 18:21  Then Peter came up and said to Him, “Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy-seven times.

The Lord still hates when we bear false witness about others outside our family, it relates to our community, co-workers, church members brothers and sister of Christ, even strangers. But strangers are less likely to know our names better yet our character, yet it best to be truthful about you talk about someone else or just say nothing at all. I know I guilty of this sin, but hope to those people,  I  ask for their forgiveness and know that I care for you all. God bless you all, the Lord Jesus loves you and so do I. Samuel J H

Job 6:24 “Teach me, and I will be silent; And show me how I have done wrong. 25 How painful are honest words! But what does your argument prove? 26 Do you intend to rebuke my words , When the words of one in despair belong to the wind? 27 You would even cast lots for the orphans, And barter over your friend.28 Now please look at me, And see if I am lying to your face.
