Proverbs 11:6 In God We Might Trust?
Many Americans believe the United States is a Christian nation, but sadly they are very wrong. The United States Constitution has laws that support the freedom of religion but are for any religion. The religion of Christianity means to be a follower of Christ; even though we worship God, who is Jesus, only God’s name, not Jesus, is written in American laws and printed on the money. As an American, it is sad for me to see, many of my fellow Americans treat political leaders as a savior. In the last few decades, the hate between political parties is very tense, and again many Americans will depend on the leaders of those parties more than God Almighty. I remember my parents saying where they were when John F Kennedy was assassinated, but life continued. When running for office, many politicians will use religion to get voted, but are they really spiritual? Most presidents go to church on Sunday morning, but are they there to worship Jesus or be seen? President Bill Clinton told a lie in court about not having a sexual affair after he swore on the Bible in God’s name. President Bush before Clinton said he would not raise taxes, so help me God, if elected, but he did. President Obama did a speech questioning some material in the Bible, and many loved it. He even campaigns on Sunday morning at a worship service, saying he supports equal rights for all, even those who want to have a same-sex relationship, which scripture calls improper or abomination. When running for president, Hillary Clinton was being investigated for her time as secretary of state if she did a poor job and kept US top secrets on a security email or if she uses a private email. When she lost, many of her supporters were crying on tv, like the world just ended, but it continued. Donald Trump used religion. When he ran for office, he uses Christianity in a significant way to win, and he may have been sincere. His questionable past always leaves an old wife and marries a younger woman and always involves beautiful women. He owned the Miss Teen USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe beauty pageants, so he is like most men; he likes attractive ladies. The Republican party says they are against abortions cause its murder; the Democrat party calls it a woman’s right or health care, but no Republican president has stopped abortion or made it illegal, like murder. When President Trump lost, many Christians, thought the world had ended, but it continues. Like the wicked with trap by their greed, America is a very greedy nation and had gotten lazy in a significant way. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, many jobs were frozen cause lockdowns. So the government gave out tax reformed stimulus checks, so in some way, many got the socialist economy they wanted. So now, there are many jobs available, but not many are taking them cause they are wanted more money from the US government. Jesus said a couple of times, no person can serve two masters, both God and wealth, for they will love one and hate the other. Many American Christians are afraid and avoid the COVID-19 vaccine, to maybe missing the beast’s mark, but you already made the USA your master, and you worship that beast, more the Jesus Christ, who is the real, King of kings. God bless you all, Jesus loves you, and so do I. Samuel J Head.
Luke 20:20 And so they watched Him ]closely, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, in order that they might catch Him in some statement, so that they could hand Him over to the jurisdiction and authority of the governor. 21 And the spies questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, we know that You speak and teach correctly, and You are not partial to anyone, but You teach the way of God on the basis of truth. 22 Is it permissible for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?” 23 But He saw through their trickery and said to them, 24 “Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?” They said, “Caesar’s.” 25 And He said to them, “Then pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” 26 And they were unable to catch Him in a statement in the presence of the people; and they were amazed at His answer, and said nothing.
