Proverbs 11:25 The Art Of Life In Living Water

Proverbs 11:25

A generous person will be prosperous, and one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty.

Is the Holy Bible about a relationship with God and others, or is it a religion or philosophy, or a combination of all three? A relationship is people getting to know each other, like a husband and wife. They know each other in an intimate way, that is how they become one. Religion is a large group that lives by a set of moral standards rules and have common beliefs. Philosophy in Greek means the love for wisdom. It is just a way for those who feel intelligent to study and to learn the meaning of life, trying to understand living. Bruce Lee, who was a master of martial arts, was also a philosopher. He had a philosophy to his idea of living life as if it is fighting in combat, and his beliefs were, “to be like water.” and know the art of dying.

The Art of Being Like Water philosophy: “Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot.  Now, water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”  Bruce Lee

The Art of Dying philosophy: “Like everyone else, you want to learn the way to win, but never to accept the way to lose, to accept defeat, to learn to die is to be liberated from it. So, when tomorrow comes, you must free your ambitious mind, and learn The Art of Dying.”  Bruce Lee

The philosophy of life to Bruce Lee was to empty your mind of fear, face death, and know that you will die. Face the fear you may lose in a fight, then you will win at combat. Another key philosophy Bruce had was not to lie to yourself. Do not tell yourself, you won’t die, cause your body will tell you are, if you tell yourself you won’t lose, you will set yourself up for major disappointment. Do not set high ambitions, be like water and go with the moment.

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

The words of God, say to follow Christ, meaning us, to be empty of self-love. A relationship with Christ, demands whoever wants to follow Him, die to themselves. Then the Holy Spirit finds it easier to transform a person into a child of God. The Holy Spirit will change you if you do not fight back, you must be a willing servant. Bruce Lee still was afraid, feeling like he was haunted by a demon, and may have what killed him. I know lots of Christians who have spiritual warfare. Proverbs 11:25 talks about being generous, God, wants His followers to generously sacrifice themselves. That is the worship He truly desires. If He sees you 100% willingly, to do so, then you will be perfect.

Romans 12:1 Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Bruce’s legacy lives on in his movies, books of philosophy, and films his demonstration. But that will be it for him, he did not know Christ, and the days of his prosperity are over. Only those who ask God, for His gift of everlasting water will prosperity in the kingdom of heaven. God bless you all, Jesus loves you and so do I. His bondservant. Samuel.

Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose trust is the Lord. 8 For he will be like a tree planted by the water That extends its roots by a stream and does not fear when the heat comes, but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought, Nor cease to yield fruit.

John 4:10 Jesus replied to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” 11 She said to Him, “Sir, You have no bucket and the well is deep; where then do You get this living water? 12 You are not greater than our father Jacob, are You, who gave us the well and drank of it himself, and his sons and his cattle?” 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again; 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.
