Proverbs 10:12 Momma’s Covering Love

Proverbs 10:12 Momma’s Covering Love

Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.

God loves us like a father love but even so, like the love of a mother, and nothing is more serious than mom’s love. Most women look forward to becoming a wife and mother, I remember as a little boy and playing with my neighborhood friends, a girl would say, “ Let’s have a make-believe wedding, make-believe we are husband and wife and the rest of our friend be the make-believe children. King Solomon was given wisdom from God to rule over  Isreal, to be a good king, and to practice justice fairly. King Solomon’s wisdom was tested many times while he rules. In 1st Kings 3:16-28,  A silly event happens between two women, the Bible calls them harlots, which means they sold their bodies for sexual pleasure. As a result of their profession, they both had sons, and they both love their sons. The Lord loves all children, and even if they are born out of wedlock or out of adultery or fornication, the Lord wants them to live. One mother woke in the middle of the night and found her son dead, this usually happens when the mother shares her bed with her newborn baby and rolls over on it suffocates to death. So the mother goes to her roommate’s bed, puts her dead son in her bed steals her son and puts him in her bed, and goes back to sleep. The two ladies end in court with King Solomon to fix the matter, cause both ladies to say the living son her their son and they went Solomon to serve the issue. What King Solomon does may seem cruel but he knows what a truly loving mother will do, and what a lying mother, that wasn’t responsible enough with her child then steal another child and play make-believe to its mother will do. He orders a sword, then with the orders he says cut the living child in half and the two women and have each part. The real mother sudden spoke up, please King Solomon, don’t cut the baby boy in half and give it to my roommate, as a whole living baby boy. Then the other lady let her evil mother speak her true desire, please King Solomon, cut him in half so that we both with have a dead son, King Solomon immediately told the court let the first lady who said let him live and do not kill the baby boy have and keep her son, cause she is the boy’s real mother.

1 Kings 3:27  Then the king replied, “Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him. She is his mother.” 28 When all Israel heard about the judgment which the king had handed down, they feared the king, because they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to administer justice.

Since I started my Bible teaching blog ministry my mind is always thinking of the next blogs, so sometimes and often I am absence minded. I made mistakes recently, not paying attention to my surrendering, I didn’t know how to reacted to what was going on and I continue to make mistakes. I have family members that don’t like me, they say I am self-righteous or judgmental, but I don’t feel either. I guess I can relate everything to God’s word, so I may use scripture to whatever is going on. Ever since I lost my father, I try to keep a close honorable relationship with my mother, so I want to tell her, I am sorry for being foolish, and sometimes no paying attention, God bless you mom and I love you, Samuel Jerry Head. God bless the rest of you, Jesus loves you and so do I, Patricia Bridges’ son.

1 Thessalonians 2:5  For neither at any time did we use flattering words, as you know, nor a cloak for covetousness—God is witness. 6 Nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, when we might have made demands as apostles of Christ. 7 But we were gentle among you, just as a nursing mother cherishes her own children. 8 So, affectionately longing for you, we were well pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives because you had become dear to us.
