Matthew 20:1-7 Do You Want A Job ?

Matthew 20:1-7

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2 When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius for the day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace; 4 and to those he said, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ And so they went. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did the same thing. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing around; and he said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day long?’ 7 They *said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You go into the vineyard too.

The Lord is looking for a worker for His heavenly kingdom. He is always hiring new workers and unlike any other employer, He doesn’t have much requirement only that you believe in the good messages He has to offer and deliver.  His human resource office is looking for good workers, who don’t mind getting hours or very little hours. Some days the work will last very long and some can be very short. You might get dirty sometimes, then again you might not break a sweat. Some employers have different rules about hiring family’s members or fraternising, but the Lord doesn’t care. In fact, He wants your family members to join in the labor and if you have friends or a special someone you have a crush on, invite them and build a relationship with them while working for God.  When I was a little boy, I liked to join little league baseball teams. Like most little boys who are part of a sports team, I like receiving my uniform and wearing it. I liked looking like the other teammates and representing a group who wanted to win together. The workers of the Lord’s vineyard (Christ’s church) the same way.  If there was a game going on, I wanted to be in the field or up to bat. Being a benchwarmer just sucked, even if my team was winning 20 to 0. Members or the church should be the same way, I don’t be a pew warmer, if your church still has pew. Let say, I don’t sit on my butt and let other church families do all of God’s work. I wanna get my hands dirty, break hard sweat, go outside my comforter zone and show others the good taste of God’s water (vineyard wine) tell them the gospel message is delicious. If you part of the body of Christ and in His church, do you part and become a labor of His vineyard. If you wanna become a worker or a part of Bride of Christ message me and I will help you get employment, thanks Happy Sabbath and God bless. Lord Jesus loves you and so do I. Samuel J Head
