Matthew 13:44 Trust the Lord with Your Treasure Parable
Ted Williams (born 1918) is one of the late great Major league baseball hall of farmers. He also served in WWII and Korean war but played most of his career with Boston Red Sox and earned the nickname “Splendid Splinter”. Ted Williams wishes that his remains be cremated and his ashes scattered in the Florida Keys. But his son and daughter plan were different to have his remains to be put in frozen cryogenically. That is a process where people want their remains frozen to keep from decaying. The hope and desires that the medical field one day will give the frozen dead to resurrect and have life again. The cost of the procedure for the whole body to be frozen is $200,000 and just like in Ted’s case his family just requested his head be frozen just in case science gave him a new body is $80,000. There is an extremely high cost $28,000.00, rendering an alternative “neuro” option unnecessary. If you learn the source of life and where I come from, it would be best to use the Holy Bible which is the treasure map to learn what you have traded in it and have that everlasting life.
The price to defeat death is the death of the current life you have, you might ask, what does that mean Sam? That is a heavy price to pay for mostly every individual, maybe much more than Ted’s $80,000 for those who love the life of the current world. One of my favorite Christian music artists, Rebecca St James has a song titled “I Can Trust,”. The lyric states,”.”God, it hurts to give You what I must lay down but when I let go, freedom’s found, God, it hurts to give You what I’ve held so dear ,Because of Your love it’s clear I can trust You with this I can trust You with me,” I know in my heart you can trust your Maker with the death of life you love now, cause He knows you better than you know yourself. Do you really think Ted’s family has 100% trust in future medical advancement, that Ted’s decapitated head can be transplanted and place a person’s body with no head? The Holy Scripture tells us His is the Maker of our bodies, called jars of clay, do you trust your Creator with your life?
Isaiah 64:8 But now, O Lord, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand.
If you want to have the treasure of everlasting life, plus with peace and joy within yourself , give Jesus your heart, soul and body and it can be yours,otherwise you will have the opposite. God bless you all, the Lord Jesus loves you and so do I. Samuel H.
