Matthew 13:24-30 Coexist with Wheat and Tares Parable

Matthew 13:24-30 

24 Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26 But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. 27 The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves *said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

Years ago I used to like to read fiction novels that were concerned with thrillers, suspense or horror. I mostly read Stephen King or Anna Rice’s novels and both wrote some of my favorite books. I really didn’t get interested in Rice’s novel until I saw Interview with a Vampire, I was very into the story line and with my experience with fictional novels versus the movie, the novel was always better, cause there is only so much a filmmaker can put into a two hour movie. To my surprise the novel is better than the movie. The book is the first part of a series of stories called The Vampire Chronicles which makes up to 13 books and 2 spin off and i read all of them but the last, two and half. There are words or phrases  Mrs Rice puts in fictional novels that go through all novels, like the dark gift; which means a vampire makes you a vampire. The reason I put Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles fictional series in with this parable of Jesus call the wheat and tares, because the main character of Rice’s novel the Lestat de Lioncourt calls the world he lives in the Savage Garden. I know the word of God is not a fiction novel but Jesus tells us in the parable of the wheat and tares. The world is God’s garden, just like Jesus told us, the Lord plants His seed all over the world. In the book of Genesis chapter 1 God did as Jesus teaches, He put men and women in the Garden of Eden and told them to fill the earth with more men and women.

Genesis 1:27  God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Adam and Eve were the good part of the Lord’s garden until Satan came along and caused a disturbance In the God’s garden. Because of Satan’s act of pollution there is a mixture of followers of God and non-followers of Him also. It may have been easy in the world’s early creation to not have followers of God and atheists living close by. As the children of Adam and Eve continue to be fruitful and multiply, it can be very difficult not to mingle and live together and coexist. Jesus tells us to live among each other, coexist as the majority movement wants us to do.  If you follow the Lord, remain strong in your faith, keep His word, witness to the non-believers as a way of loving your neighbors. When the harvest time comes and the Lord wants to collect the good crop. All those who not reflect the image of Christ, He separate them always  and their existence will be no more, cause crops are consumed in fire, not marinating. If you wanna be part of the Lord’s beautiful wheat and living in His kingdom coexist with those in the world but don’t be part of them. God bless you all, the Lord Jesus loves you and so do I.
