Matthew 10:20-22 Family Will Become Enemies

Matthew 10:20-22

20  For it is not you who speak, but it is the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. 21 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. 22 You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

It’s hard to believe that family members will turn on you, for believing in & loving the Lord. There are a few examples of Biblical people who were hated for letting their light shine, for God. And the world is full of people hated & persecuted for following Jesus. A 12 year old deaf girl  Saree, was beaten almost to death  & kicked out Hindu family’s house, because she converted to Christianity , but she never refused to deny Christ. One of Saree’s aunts, a devout Christian , took her to her church. “Your family members are not believers in the true God,” she told her niece. “ But I am. Come with me. My God will heal you.” Dear friends , you can expect to lose friends  when becoming a Christian & you will lose & be hated by family members also, but the Lord will replace them, with true brothers & sisters  I can speak from experience, cause I have a church family.
