1 Samuel 1:20
Luke 15:11-14 The Father of Free Will and His Inheritance

Luke 15:11-14 The Father of Free Will and His Inheritance

Luke 15:11-14

11 And He said, “A man had two sons. 12 The younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of the estate that falls to me.’ So he divided his wealth between them. 13 And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living. 14 Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to be impoverished.

The parable of the Prodigal Son, has many lessons within Jesus’ short stories that help explain the kingdom of heaven and the word of God. Luke 15:11-14 teaches about God’s Sovereignty, of course the Lord is a ruling power, but He rules by allowing free will, The man with two sons demonstrates the love of God, by not being overpowering and very controlling. The father of the two sons, action gave the two boys life, and by his works and efforts of love they provided them shelter, food, care and unconditional love. So when one son told his father I may promise inheritance now and go off on my merry way. His father gave no argument and gave his son the money he had saved up for them. When the son was ready to leave, he packed his bags and hit the road. He not only went to the next town, he wanted distance away from his father, maybe didn’t want his dad to hear rumors of the lifestyle he truly desired for so many years. Me and the wayward son have something in common, ,money burns a hole in my pocket, and when son made it where he was headed to, he didn’t waste time buying any pleasure he saw fits to have. Scripture says the boy’s father had wealth, so this wayward son had a pretty penny. He didn’t mind getting the attention of the most beautiful girl, he paid for tasty food, stayed in nice inns, His daddy money seemed to have no end, but when his money bag started to feel less heavy, his stress got more intense. The funny thing is that when you are away from your father’s presence and something unplan happens like a virus  or a  severe famine, like where this wayward son was, food gets in very short supply. These Bible passages said the wayward son became impoverished , that means he left his father’s presence a wealthy man’s son, but on his own he became a poor beggar, with deep pockets.  Samuel H
