James 5:9-11 Do You Downcast Others ?
The mental health condition of people during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, is kind off the charts. With the vaccine being approved, many Christian are saying, hey the mark of the beast is the vaccine and I heard it can change a human being’s DNA strand. Medical science wishes they could have a man and women’s DNA since some want to change their race or gender and some want to change the species they are, so maybe this rumor is hopeful thinking. Not only are we worried about virus that kills less people then suicide or unhealthy diet or criminals killing innocent people or the police trying just to protect and serve. We are worried about who will be the leaders of the countries that are in the evil world, we have political leaders who judge each other and we have people who are supporters of each political party who hate and judge one another. James 5:9 say hey brothers and sister, you all are come short of God’s glory, stop complaining to each other and stop judging each other, cause the Lord is gonna judge you all! The prophets of the holy word of God are used as an example of followers of the Lord who serve God as they were told and receive horrible treatment but still did God’s will and not their own. Moses compared the complaining Israelites former slaves of Egypt, to nursing children that he never gave birth to and all they do I cry saying please keep nursing me like an infant.
Sometimes the people who should do the most complaining to the less, take for example people with Down syndrome. Down syndrome is a genetic disorder that a person is born with, and if there was medicine that could change DNA, then maybe they would love an injection that would make a child born with genetic disorder be made normal like you and me. But no vaccine will be created for down syndrome or for foolishness and the only vaccine for complaining people is the Lord’s second coming judgment day and all the whining cries done put away. Yes ago when I had some personal depression, someone gave me a book called, ‘ Chicken Soup of the Soul ” and it lifted up my down spirit. A few true life stories of how people overcome depression times I can still remember . In 1976 at a Special Olympic event in Seattle, Washington something very amazing happened between nine who were mentally disable. They were set to run a 100-yard dash and when they heard the gunshot they started to run with all the will power for the fastest person to win the race and compete against each other. One boy out of nine failed on the asphalt pavement and got hurt and he began to cry. Instead of continue the race and taking the advantage of one down hurt injury competitor, all eight mentally disable stop and went back to check on him. One girl with down syndrome bent down and gave the injury boy a kiss and said, “This will make it feel better”. After that all the mentally disable athletes linked arms and finished the race together, all breaking the tape at the same time. The people in the stands stood up and cheered for a solid ten minutes. Now let me ask you can we learn something from people who have children like mind and stop complaining about the life of suffering and be content in all situations. God bless all the Lord loves you and so do I. Samuel Head.
