James 4:13-17 His Will For Today
Don’t be arrogant in your life, is what James messages to the followers of the Lord. It is easy to take our precious life for granted when we wake up, get dressed, eat and go live our lives like we did yesterday and feel like we will tomorrow. It is easy for myself, even with the experience of having my father alive when I go to sleep and dead when I wake up several hours later. I’m sure if you are reading my Bible teaching blogs, you are aware scripture speaks of the final day of the sinful world and judgment day for all mankind. We are Christians because we desire to follow Jesus , and His desire 0 was to do His Father’s will.
When Jesus said the prayer to His Father God, He was ready to go through judgment by mankind He created, then suffer and die on the cross. Jesus lived His whole life to do His Father’s will and He served us His children by being the Messiah and dying for our sins. So it is very easy for a bond-servant like James to say don’t be arrogant with precious life God gave you and not be ready to accept your judgment and reward for the life you lived. Jesus gave a warning how the day of judgment will look like just another normal day. A couple will be exchanging wedding vows and say I promise to and be your husband or wife, you till death do us part. Hungry and thirty people will be eating the food and drinking and swallow whatever they desire, but all it takes is the twinkle of eyelids and the sound of holy trumpets and that’s all she wrote folks. The Son of Man is here and He has our reward with Him , will you and I be ready, I personally we are. God Bless you the Lord Jesus loves you and so do I. Samuel H.
