James 1:2-4 Refine Me Lord Please
A person who wants to become a Christian might think the Lord will make their life a lot better or a bed of roses, but that isn’t what happens. As for myself, my life was hard before I became followers of Christ, but afterward, it got more challenging. I had a job, car, and making payments on property my father left me after he had passed. But I lost all that, within a Swifty event after event. The Camaro I had thrown a rod, and after that, I was fired from my job, and eventually, I was looking for a place to live. My Lord my Shepherd took care of me the whole way and even now, He still provides me what I need and want. Anyone who studies the word of God and sees that three fruits of the Holy Spirit within James 1:2-4, are joy, faith, and patience. A Christian is identified by these fruits and James tells his reading that trials and tribulations help produce patience when our faith is strong in the Lord. If you pay attention to current events in the going through a lot of trials and tribulations. Even if there have always been nations at war with each other many people worldwide are highly tense, depressed, full of anxiety, bitterness, and hate. The coronavirus or COVID-19 is causing unrest and forcing many nations to force lockdowns which causes loss of jobs and the economy of this nation is declining. James and the whole word of God say if you put your hundred percent faith in Him, when trials and tribulations, don’t worry but have joy. Going through tribulation is like being refined. The Hebrew part of Scripture word for refining is ( ??? ????? ) and in the Greek language of the New Testament is ( ??? ?? ?????? ). Both languages’ version of refinement is a process of taking the junk out of elements to make a very strong and solid form of precious metal like silver and gold. When a person makes himself or herself a child of God, they make themselves an enemy of the world and Satan. The Devil will put you through many tribulations and many will go through major suffering and might die. When the treasures of your heart are not of this world, rather if you live or die during tribulation, you and I will do more than lack nothing. Our wealth will be more than any then person who has worldly desires could contain. God bless you all, the Lord loves you and so do I. Samuel H.
Zechariah 13:9 This third I will bring through the fire. I will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them as gold is tested. They will call on My Name and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are My people,’ and they will answer, ‘Adonai is my God.’
