1 Samuel 1:20
Isaiah 44:3-4 I Come Drink Of His Water

Isaiah 44:3-4 I Come Drink Of His Water

Everlasting Water

Isaiah 44:3-4

3 For I will pour out water on the thirsty land And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring And My blessing on your descendants; And My blessing on your descendants; And they will spring up among the grass like poplars by streams of water.’

The Romans constructed aqueducts throughout their empire, to bring water from outside sources, into cities and towns. To supply water to public baths, latrines, fountains and private households, it also supported farms and gardens. Even the rulers of Roman knew it had to give it’s people water to survive, even if it helped to collect taxes from them. The Bible says the Lord will make dry places, like deserts, flowing with water. But the Sahara has existed many years and is still dry, so what does it mean? Jesus says in Matthew 5, Blessed are those who hunger & thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied.;

Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

 Jesus also says in John 4, whoever drinks of the water He gives, will never thirst and the water gives eternal life;

John 4:13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
