Isaiah 31:3 Egyptian Pharaohs Thought They Were Gods

Isaiah 31:3

Now the Egyptians are men and not God, and their horses are flesh and not spirit; So the Lord will stretch out His hand, and he who helps will stumble and he who is helped will fall, and all of them will come to an end together.

When he was born, he was named Ramesses, which means Ra (The Ancient Egypt Sun God) is the one who bore him’. As he grew he was taught that he should be treated as God. He took throne in his teens & is regarded as the greatest Pharaoh of ancient Egypt. He led successful military battles, had his likeness built after him, he outlived most of his wives & children. As he aged, he wasn’t able to eat the best food available to him & his arthritis made it hard to move around. Ramesses the Great didn’t feel like God anymore & he didn’t have everlasting life like the true God of Creation. Only the Lord Almighty has Immortal life & the Creator of the universe. Many men & some women thought he or she was great or even a god. But their limited lifespan proved they are no god, Jesus Christ came to a world He Created & showed mankind He could defeat death. He is still alive, unlike King Ramesses, Jesus Christ’s body is not here on earth in a tomb. God bless you all, the Lord Jesus loves you & so do I. Sam H.

Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable.
