James 1:16-18 God of Love Is Good

 James 1:16-18

16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers and sisters. 17 Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. 18 In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.

Most Christians will agree the Lord is the giver of all good things, but does the non-believer know it. The name of God is very powerful and many times people will hear His name or even hear it. There are a lot of things that exist in the world that we as humans call good, to prove, what would happen if they disappeared all of sudden. Oxygen is a good gift without it, life on the planet doesn’t exist, the word of God says let everything that has breath praise the Lord, did  the Lord God who is so good, give His creatures oxygen so that we could praise His name when we inhale and exhale?

Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!

James 1:17 says God is the Father of light and science tells us that light from the sunshine gives planet life like trees to produce energy called photosynthesis, which helps trees to produce oxygen. Trees also store carbon dioxide that helps clean the air we breathe removing negative effort that CO2 does to the oxygen. Have you ever thought of the sun and trees as a good gift from Father God, I know I personally like them . He also sent rain to give trees water to drink to help it grow, the Lord God sent rain and sunshine down on  all creation, to Christian and non-Christian.

Matthew 5:45  so that you may prove yourselves to be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

How many of you have children, grandchildren, or young nephews or nieces like me. Children are a good gift from Father God. Imagine a world without little children and also imagine no little smiles and little laughter or even a delightful hug or kiss, would you agree children are a blessed gift from God?

Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.

Have you ever thought of love as a gift from God, the word of God says He is love and He gives us family members to love. He gives us humble fur babies or all kinds of humble animals to be our pets to love. He gives us tasty food to eat and love full,  when we feel hungry, why don’t you go ask a hungry homeless person if food is a gift. All things are given by the Father of light who is our cause he gives the greatest gift of all which is love. The Lord God is the love, if you ever experience love it is a gift like rain it falls on all God children. God bless you all, Jesus loves you and so do I. Samuel H.

Ecclesiastes 3:12  So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. 13 And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.
