Mark 13:32 Readiness For the Day and Hour

Mark 13:32

 But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

Mankind has always predicted the end of the world and life on earth, even non-religious believe in an end times. There are many websites that have the different number of ways that life could come to an end. Here are a list of event these websites say that could end the world; Asteroid or comet  Impact, Gamma-ray Burst , Collapse of the Vacuum,  Rogue Black Holes , Giant Solar Flares,  Flood-basalt Volcanism, Global Epidemics,  Global War , Divine Intervention. Jesus made this very same   statement in Matthew 24:36 but many people have made end time predictions and life continues when that date comes and goes. My parents took me to church as a young boy growing up and I was taught of a second coming of the Lord, I had some fear in me when I read the book of Revelation and even more fearful of burning in hell forever. One day I saw a tv program called “The Man Who Knew Tomorrow “ . It was about Nostradamus,  a man who made an awesome prediction. Nostradamus was French astrologer and physician and he is credited to have made predictions about Hitler and other events. Nostradamus made a doomsday prediction that would happen in the late 1990’s . A man wearing a blue turban would wage a war with the whole war, which would cause the sky to burn and this battle would last 27 years and many say this is his prediction of WWIII. After watching that program. I said to myself, I will live wildlife and basically  however I like and prepare my soul for end times when it happens and still have my salvation. I can imagine many people feel that way, if we knew when Jesus was coming, we might all live a hell of  life. Jesus doesn’t want us to know when the end of ages is coming, He asks us to live our lives as if at any moment He could come. I love Jesus and yes I want salvation, living forever in the kingdom of heaven is nice and not suffering in hell is even nicer, He wants me and you to serve Him for the sure purpose of having meaning in our lives. Until He returns He asks us to tell others to learn of His soon coming and to prepare their heart so that they want to receive the suffering of hell and death . Luke chapter 12 says have a heart of readiness, be like a good servant who is always ready for their master to return at any moment, be ready if a thief breaks into your house at any time.

Luke 12:39  “But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have allowed his house to be broken into. 40 You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.”

The Lord gave us His word to help look for signs and warnings of His soon coming, many of these end times sign have happen even since Jesus went into heaven in Acts chapter 1,

Acts 1:10  And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. 11 They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”

We ourselves have to be like the man from Galilee, have a watchful eyes on Jesus and be ready for His  soon coming at any time, the word of God says our enemy Satan is not wasting any time cause he knows his time is short.
