Matthew 13:45-46 The Delightful Pearls of Heaven
The Kingdom of Heaven is like seeking beautiful pearls, this parable teaching. I was looking forward to the lovely parable of Jesus and I bet some of you do too. In the Bible I am using has pearls written 10 times, the first time is in the book of Esther and it tells how the King Ahasuerus and how his palace is using them as decorations.
Esther 1:5 When these days were completed, the king gave a banquet lasting seven days for all the people who were present at the citadel in Susa, from the greatest to the least, in the court of the garden of the king’s palace. 6 There were hangings of fine white and violet linen held by cords of fine purple linen on silver rings and marble columns, and couches of gold and silver on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of-pearl and precious stones.
Many people don’t ask where precious jewels or stones come, they just think they are lovely and want to possess them to beautify their homes or themselves. What are the pearls of heaven? A pearl is the result of what started out as a piece of sand or a small object that got stuck inside any kind of shelled mollusk. That small object is irritating pain to a clam. The pearl is made by a calm immune system that costs the irritating object, the calm basically cries on its pain and the people of the world value the suffering of one God’s creatures. You and I are God’s creation all of us, but those He loves He calls saints and when they suffer because of their love for Him.
Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord Is the death of His saints.
He knows our lives aren’t easy, He knows we go through pain and suffering, He hears our cries for help and His word says He collects our tears of sorrow and keeps record of them.
Psalm 56:8 You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book.
I have a precious friend, she has a Hebrew name which means, “She is my delight.” We have a delightful friendship, and she told me she doesn’t’ feel loved, but Jesus loves her and I loves her . The kingdom of heaven is like valuable pearls, is a collection of His children, after years crying we will be gathered around Him and worship Him. He will look at each one with great joy calling us precious pearls. God bless you all, the Lord Jesus loves you and so do I, especially His delight. Samuel H.
Jeremiah 31:16 Thus says the Lord:“Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; For your work shall be rewarded, says the Lord, and they shall come back from the land of the enemy.
