Revelation 15:1 The Mark Of Pandemics

Revelation 15:1

Then I saw in heaven another marvelous event of great significance. Seven angels were holding the seven last plagues, which would bring God’s wrath to completion.

John wrote the book of Revelation, the gospel of John, and the epistles of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd John.  The Antichrist is written about in John’s epistles and not only does he write about one antichrist but writes there are many, and currently with him in the world. The apostle John was with Peter when Jesus told them to follow Me and I will make you a fisher of mean, but unlike the twelve disciples, John died of the natural cause of old age. For three years, John followed Jesus and listened to Him preach, saw Him heal, and at Jesus’ death on the cross He asked John to take care of His mother, Mary. Jesus loved and trusted John so much; He told him to take Mary home and call her mother and Mary to call John, her son. For three years, John followed Jesus and listened to Him preach, saw Him heal, and Jesus even asked John to take care of His mother, Mary. Jesus loved and trusted John so much; He told him to take Mary home and call her mother and Mary to call John, her son.

Matthew 4:21 Going on from there He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, mending their nets; and He called them.

John 19:26  So when Jesus saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” 27 Then He said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her into his own household.

Everything the Lord does, He has planned long before it happens, all of the disciples had died a cruel death, but John. Jesus told Peter, John would die of old age, but Peter will die violently. Like God’s word, Peter was confused by this. Like many who are putting physical literal meaning to spiritual words, they are puzzled or believe famous rumors, (false prophecy).

John 21:18  Truly, truly I tell you, when you were younger, you used to put on your belt and walk wherever you wanted; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will put your belt on you, and bring you where you do not want to go.” 19 Now He said this, indicating by what kind of death he would glorify God. And when He had said this, He said to him, “Follow Me!”20 Peter turned around and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them—the one who also had leaned back on His chest at the supper and said, “Lord, who is the one who is betraying You?” 21 So Peter, upon seeing him, said to Jesus, “Lord, and what about this man?” 22 Jesus said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!”

Now, no one wants to die violently; dying peacefully at old age is much better. Indeed Peter would have preferred natural death better than being nailed to the cross and upside down, dying painfully and slowly. History says Peter chose to die upside down on the cross because he felt unworthy to die the similar death that Jesus his Savior did. The rapture teaches the Lord will spare His people from torment and tribulations, but is the rapture Biblical teaching or hope of not suffering like so many Christians have, all over earth’s history. Will God rescue His saint so that they won’t be put in prison, locked up, or be executed, cause they refuse the beast’s mark? The real fear for lukewarm Christians is that they will be 100% dependent on God for their provision.  worshiping the beast will be easy because buying and selling with earthly money they would have earned will be impossible. Revelation 15:1 says seven angels have seven plagues that will finish God’s wrath. Similar to what God did to the Egyptian Pharaoh. The Lord would release plague after plague upon the Egyptian people, but the Israelites (God’s people) would remain unharmed. Eventually, the Egyptian King would release the Hebrew slaves because he know the Lord is God.  Long before the Hebrew nation were slaves in Egypt, God told Abraham this would happen, but in the end, God would rescue His people and that they would have a little wealth with them.

Genesis 15:12 As the sun was going down, Abram fell into a deep sleep, and a terrifying darkness came down over him. 13 Then the Lord said to Abram, “You can be sure that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign land, where they will be oppressed as slaves for 400 years. 14 But I will punish the nation that enslaves them, and in the end they will come away with great wealth.

From the beginning of God’s word in Genesis to Revelation, the Lord allows His people to go through trials and tribulations, which many are persecuted. Then later, even though Abraham’s descendants spent 400 years and even had to take them to a mountain to remind  His people, He is still God the Great I Am, their God. Only through those who live by His Word, and worship Him in truth and spirit, will they inherit the true promised heavenly land of milk and honey. Those who were afraid to suffer for God’s glory, aren’t really worthy of His kingdom. His Son, Jesus died and suffered a horrible death, and He told His followers they would suffer also. When the riches of God’s heavenly kingdom are your treasure, death on earth should not fear you. God bless you all,  Jesus the Passover Lamb loves you, and so do I, Samuel Jerry Head.

Jeremiah 16:4 “They will die of deadly diseases, they will not be mourned or buried; they will be like dung on the surface of the ground. And they will perish by sword and famine, and their dead bodies will become food for the birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth.”

Deuteronomy 28:58  “If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God, 59 then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and our descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses. 60 And He will bring back on you every disease of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you. 61 Also every sickness and every plague, which are not written in the book of this Law, the Lord will bring on you until you are destroyed. 62 Then you will be left few in number, whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven because you did not obey the Lord your God. 63 And it will come about that, just as the Lord rejoiced over you to be good to you, and make you numerous, so will the Lord rejoice over you to wipe you out and destroy you; and you will be torn away from the land which you are entering to possess.
