Proverbs 2:12-15 Wisdom’s Light Endures Forever
Evil deeds and actions usually happen in the dark and the wisdom of God is as bright as midday sunlight. That is why most people don’t like to walk down dark alleys, or people with poor vision dont like driving at night. During Medieval times, the time of the Dark ages which caused such wisdom and knowledge was non-existent. Johannes Gutenberg’s inventor of the printing press between 1436-1439, was the beginning of the end of the Dark Ages. The Gutenberg Bible was the first mass printed book of God’s word and His wisdom into many Christian’s hands. Peter Schöffer took Gutenberg’s invention and printed the Psalter which is the book of Psalm. As more and more printed books of God’s word were being produced, His wisdom was taught and learned more and more. False church leaders wanted a stop God’s word from being made available and into common people’s hands, so that they could keep God’s wisdom to themselves. Pope Alexander VI (1492–1503) , excommunicated anyone who printed manuscripts without the church’s approval, but reformers like John Calvin, Martin and William Tyndale, obey God more the wicked man,and put out the gospel as much as possible. Pope Alexander VI, who tried to suppress God’s word, was the highest representative of the Roman Catholic Church, the Pope title is Vicarius Filii Dei which means (Latin: Vicar or Representative of the Son of God) , but Pope Alaxander VI lifestyle was far from the lifestyle of godly man. Alexander is remembered as being corrupt and worldly and a Pope with no spiritual life and fathered several children with a mistress, bribery, and scandalous sex. By King Solomon’s words of wisdom in Proverbs 2:12-15, Pope Alaxander VI and many others who try to suppress God’s word, are evil people who enjoy walking dark paths and also twist God’s word to support their corrupt actions. God bless you all, Jesus loves you and so do I . Samuel J Head .
Isaiah 50:10 Who is among you who fears the Lord, Who obeys the voice of His servant, Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.
