Proverbs 1:24-27 Fools Provide Laughter To God
All the world’s a stage, a phrase from William Shakespeare’s comedy As You Like It, is Proverbs 1:24-27 the fools that denied the wisdom of God a form of laughing entertainment or I to the Lord. Ever since creation, the Lord Creator gave His creation His words of wisdom of how to live with the prosperity of a long healthy, peaceful life full of the blessings of love. When words of wisdom are not followed or obeyed, the wise God may have a laugh and say, “ Hey you brought it on yourself,”. Even when reading scripture one would get a laugh at the foolish behavior of men and women when they know they did something wrong but try to hide it from the Creator.
Adam and Eve both had hearts and lungs God created, and the breath of life that the Lord gave them that allowed them to live, did they truly think they could hide from His presence and that He that they were hiding in the garden of Eden in which He created and knew every inch of the whole earth. As a wise person goes to the Lord when they know they did something foolish and to be corrected and be redirected, the fool continues to be foolish and just becomes a laughingstock to our Creator. I bet many of you have heard that when you buy a new vehicle or any new item like a cellphone, computer, or tablet, it comes with a user manual, and it is provided for the new owner or the product by the maker, to tell how it will properly work for a very long time. Prescription medicine is the same way, it comes with dosage information and how many pills to take or how to apply for the medicine, if the medicine is misused, a person either will not get well or die. The Bible is God’s words of wisdom on how to live a better life. Words of wisdom of having a healthy diet ( Leviticus 11 ), how to live in harmony with a relationship with the Lord and each other, ( Exodus 20:1-17 ). If you want to know why bad things happen to the good and bad, the wisdom of God’s word will tell you, ( Job chapter 1 & 2, James 1:5-8 ). The word of God says if you do what is right in your own eyes and refuse His words of wisdom, you are just plain foolish and you will be mocked by God and His children who do read His word. God bless you all, the Lord loves you and so do I. Samuel J Head
