13 But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak, 14 knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. 15 For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God.
I have never seen Jesus raised to life, but I have faith in the God the Father raised His Son Jesus back to life, after He died a painful death on the cross. My belief in Jesus’ resurrection is not based on fact, but faith, which so many people can’t understand. When I first came to Christ, I knew a little about His defeat of death, but I knew I felt dead within myself. Sin can drag some down and make them day are dead, and not only that make them look like death the perfect example is the story of the Last Supper painting by Leonardo DaVinci, I learn about story cause in my father’s family bible and I said to myself, it’s interesting true story, When Davinci started looking for human models to pose for the people who set at the Last Supper. He wanted a very handsome man, with scars, and who had a very beautiful appearance, to pose for Christ. So he picked a young attractive nineteen year old man and he posed as Jesus for six months and after that the young man left. From the Greatest character Jesus to the least DaVinci would use a different males, from what he saw as the most beautiful Jesus to the ugliest, Judas Iscariot, the disciple who betrayed Jesus with a kiss. When the artist DaVinci went looking for a very ugly a hard callous face, with many scars, and who was known as a criminal. He found his model locked up in the dungeons of Rome. DaVinci asks for permission, for the criminal to be released and poses a few hours pretending to be Judas Iscariot. When DaVinci finished his piece of artwork, he said “it is finished, you may take the prisoner away.” As the guard was carrying the prisoner away, the prisoner broke free and to DaVinci. When he got to the artist he cried, “O, Da Vinci, look at me! Do you not know who I am?” DaVinci looked at the man and was very puzzled and probably, I don’t know the hell you are and never saw you before. Then, lifting his eyes toward heaven, the prisoner said, “Oh, God, have I fallen so low?” Then turning his face to the painter he cried, “Leonardo Da Vinci! Look at me again for I am the same man you painted just seven years ago as the figure of Christ.” My friends I used this amazing story, to say if sin can make someone look like death, just wonder what a transformation or resurrection to new life is to be fully alive in Christ. God bless you, the Lord loves you and do I. Samuel Head
