2 Corinthians 3:16-18 The Fullness of God’s Glory is the Word

2 Corinthians 3:16-18

16 but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

The Veil that covers God’s glory, both in the holy temple or on Moses’ face, is talked about in all of 2 Corinthian chapter 3, when comparing the Old Covenant to the New Covenant. Moses only used his veil, to cover himself, so that the Israelite’s would approach him, & he could tell them God’s message to them. Moses was a prophet & that is what prophet do, they deliver the word of God , so that God’s people can know Him better. Moses only wore his veil, in front of the people who felt unworthy to see God’s glory in Moses’ face. When Moses was in the presence of the Almighty God, he removed his veil, cause he was unafraid & wanted to absorb more of God’s glory.

Exodus 34:34 But whenever Moses went in before the Lord to speak with Him, he would take off the veil until he came out; and whenever he came out and spoke to the sons of Israel what he had been commanded,

We can be like Moses & learn about God’s glory by spending time, listening to His amazing words of instruction, and telling us how to live & be like Him. God’s glory is revealed in the Holy Bible; from Genesis to Revelation. The Jewish people only accept the Old Testament cause the refuse to accept Jesus as the Messiah, some Christian only believe the New Testament is all they need; when the word of God tell both group, all of God’s word is His glory& Righteousness;

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path

.2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;

How is God’s glory reveal & His veil, left up & open to us to see & understand His word plain sight. This is easy, His Glorious Word became flesh & came to live with the people of God, so that the world could see His Glory.

John 1:14  And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Imagine that my brothers & sister in Christ, the Holiest of Holy living, walking, eating, sleeping & breathing among me & you who have broken the Laws of the His Father’s covenant. By all means, He should be our God anymore, that was the covenant promise God said, If you obey my commandment laws & be my people then I will be your God;

Numbers 15:40 so that you may remember to do all My commandments and be holy to your God.41 I am the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt to be your God; I am the Lord your God.”

Scripture tells me & you, He is God with us;

Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”

Why would Immanuel, come to be God with us, if it us that broke our covenant promise law, Maybe because a simple Old Testament Bible verse show the us where God’s Glory comes from, His love;

Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions.

I want you to think about what is in, my dear friends, what is God’s glory,  is it God’s word, is it covenant promises, or is it God’s transgression covering love, that He would rather show love then hate. Do you know Jesus when he died on the cross for me & you breaking the covenant promise, He said I apologies. He was innocent & we were guilty, but He remained our God. God’s Glory is in His Son Jesus Christ’s  unconditional love & accepting our penalty. At His death, at that time of Jesus death on the cross, show the world God’s glory, when He loved covered our sins. Let me ask you this & myself, do we accept the Lord’s apology? I know I do. God bless you, the Lord loves you & so do I.

John 8:54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God’;
