1 It happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found some disciples.2 He said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said to him, “No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” 3 And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” And they said, “Into John’s baptism.” 4 Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus.” 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
You can tell a pastor you are ready for baptism and he will dunk you under water , but Lord Jesus can really see your heart and knows when you or I are ready to let go of ourselves and let the Spirit. Many people get baptized for the wrong reasons. Some are people who grew up in Christian family, some could be kids who go to Vacation Bible School and get baptized with friends. I’m not saying those are bad things, if the seed of the Gospel is planted, hopefully it will grow, then it was good. A person’s relationship with Christ can mature, and a desire to be re-baptized may enter his or her heart. But that isn’t always necessary, a person can be baptized by the Holy Spirit without ever being immersed into water. The Holy Spirit will lead someone to being born again, & being born again in the Spirit helps a person get to know their Lord even more and more. Just like Scripture tells us that Apollo was a good teacher of Scripture, he became a better teacher, when he allowed the Spirit to correct him. You can be baptized also my beautiful brother and sister in Christ. If not by water from your local pastor or church, be baptized by giving up yourself to the Lord Jesus Christ ,
Once you give yourself to Christ, His loving Spirit, will help your relationship grow, more and more you let go of yourself. If you need information about being baptized, message me or call me my number is 1(704)300-3377 my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. God bless you all, the Lord loves you & so do I.
