2 Corinthians 11:1-6 Eve Was Deceived By A False Gospel

2 Corinthians 11:1-6

1 I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness; but indeed you are bearing with me. 2 For I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy; for I betrothed you to one husband, so that to Christ I might present you as a pure virgin. 3 But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. 4 For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully. 5 For I consider myself not in the least inferior to the most eminent apostles. 6 But even if I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not so in knowledge; in fact, in every way we have made this evident to you in all things.

The writer of 2 Corinthians 11, apostle Paul is telling the church in this Bible passage, don’t be foolish & believe anything that he didn’t teach. Paul had only taught the words of Jesus, & Jesus only taught the word of God, which Jesus was & is & forever be the word of the Living God. He tells the church, there are no other teachings of Jesus that don’t exist, anything teaching that offers bad results if trust it, is bad news. Bad news is the opposite of the good news, which the Holy Bible calls the Gospel. What is the Gospel, believe in & obey Jesus the Son of God & me & you will have life, the bad news or false gospels is to believe in Jesus, have not trust & die or perish.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

When did trust & obey in Lord & listening to Gospel began in the Holy Bible, when did the Lord say, believe in Me & you will live, if you don’t you will die?

Genesis 2:16 The Lord God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely;17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.

Adam heard the gospel from His Creator, trust Me & live, otherwise you will die, when the Lord made Eve, Adam’s wife, she heard the gospel message. Everything was okay until Eve listened to another gospel message, from a serpent which scripture tells is Satan. Satan sugarcoats God’s, tells it’s okay to disobey God & eat from the wrong tree, you won’t die Eve but you will but just like God.

Genesis 3:4 The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die! 5 For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Let me ask you my brothers & sisters, which gospel was true & false, the Lord or Satan, let me ask you, have you seen Adam & Eve lately? No they are dead & the children they had after they disobey all die of the false gospel message the serpent Satan preached to our mother Eve. The Lord Jesus is the true gospel preacher & His word gives everlasting life. The words & teaching of Jesus are in the very Holy Bible that is available to me & you, as citizens in this great country where freedom of religion current exist, if me or you don’t read the Lord’s gospel message, then the crafty devil, will use God’s word & twist it for his false gospel message. If you trust the devil, his false gospel message gives nothing but death & rob you of everlasting life. Jesus told His followers then New Testament, Satan is the father of false gospel, he is liar & he is a murder.

John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

The only hope for salvation is to Trust and obey, for there’s no other way To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
