1 Corinthians 2:1-5 Only By the Power of God, Not By Men’s Wisdom!
1 And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, 4 and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.
The power & the existence of the Lord God of Creation, has always been tested by the wisdom of the men & women He created. As if we know better then the Lord God, who gave us brains to think with and to think with & if we have any wisdom, it came from Him. He gave me & you freewill to think for ourselves & most people use their wisdom, to tell the Creator, we know what’s better for ourselves & when life goes horribly wrong, He is the first we to blame. God’ power was tested by the world’s first great empire, the Babylonia & the story came from Genesis 11:1-9. It was shortly after God had flooded the world & the Babylonian’s king Nimrod, the great-great grandson of Noah, wanted to rebel against God of creation. So he desire to build a huge tower to reach all the way to heaven & be like God Almighty;
Genesis 11:4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
But while the wise man, using their skills, to stack brick on top brick & use mud to make it stick, the Lord God used His power to confuse their language (tongue) & suddenly when one mason, said ‘Hand me another brick, his co-worker, said, I don’t understand the babel you say, excuse,can you make yourself more clear.’ But that is not the last time a person thought of their wisdom to test God’s Power & existence. A man named Charles Darwin, came up with a theory of evolution or a hypothesis, which is man’s way of saying, we are guessing. Charle Darwin was a man, who called himself agnostic, that means, he believed in a higher power, but not the God of the Holy Bible, cause he thought the story of creation & how mankind was made upright in one day, was completely, not illogical. Darwin’s theory teaches, all life starts are stage & it adapts or evolus, so that the life form can survive in the world it lives, a survival of the fittest. The bad thing a Darwin’s hypothesis or educated guess, is that it has never been proven as fact, there have been no fossil, not bones have been found were a life form show it have evolue from one stage to other, so the theory of evolution remain, mankind’s proof that it prove, God doesn’t exist & His Holy word is a lie, but then again, the Lord wants me & you to have faith & His word as 100% fact. There is way by nature & God’s creation, that God’s power is real. at the mouth of the Mississippi River & the Nile River, fresh water of both great bodies and fresh water, & the bodies of the salt sea water, doesn’t mix together. Both bodies of freshwater or both rivers, provide life. The Mississippi gives fresh water most of mid America , & the Nile provides fresh water to most of Africa. When these fresh water & sea salt water meet, they don’t mix, both bodies of water, either remain fresh or salt. Does the word of God ask us humans if we can understand this power of His where were when, when used His awesome power to make happen? My brothers & sisters in Christ we all should have all God’s power over our wisdom, especially when most things we have invented with our wisdom are harmful to humans & creation, like the atom bomb or thermonuclear weapons. Please be with me & accept God’s authority of our stupid ways. God bless you all & I love you. Sam H.
Job 38:8 “Or who enclosed the sea with doors When, bursting forth, it went out from the womb;9 When I made a cloud its garment And thick darkness its swaddling band,10 And I placed boundaries on it and set a bolt and doors,11 And I said, ‘Thus far you shall come, but no farther;
