Romans 1:8-9 Paul’s Uses of the Roman Empire
Most often people will complain about the government that rules them, & same guess most of the people of Israel & their hatred for the Roman Empire. But the Bible tells us in (Romans 13:1) government authorities are established by God. Scripture speaks how God used Augustus Caesar, to have a census of all the earth, & so then Joseph took Mary to Bethlehem, & just in time to fulfill prophecy, Jesus was born in the city of David.
The emperor Augustus established Rome’s first postal service to communicate with his governors & military officials. Augustus, & those who succeeded him built about 47,000 miles of roads & many stations , that employees, that help the Roman mail carriers. The apostle Paul ,who was a Roman citizen, took advantage of this Roman Postal Service, he knew of to deliver the gospel letters to the 13 letters to the churches . Dear brothers & sisters, we should always believe God is always in control. Maybe all the roads do lead to Rome, but also delivered the good new. God bless you all, the Lord loves you and so do I. by Samuel Head
