Romans 1:8-10 I Thank God For You

Romans 1:8-10

1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the world. 9 For God, whom I serve in my spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you, 10 always in my prayers requesting if perhaps now, at last by the will of God, I will succeed in coming to you.

I thank God for the letters Paul wrote to churches of Christ that years later became 13 letters of the New Testament. Lots of the words Paul said about himself I could easily say about myself. Paul calls himself the chief of sinners and the worst of all sinners. Paul says Oh, what wretched man I am. Paul says I know the good I should do but do the very evil I don’t want to. Despite what Paul said about himself and how I feel similar, God had mercy on us, and we are saved by Jesus’ name.

Romans 7:19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 21 I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good.

1 Timothy 1:15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.

Regardless Of what Paul said or felt about himself, he gave his life to complete the mission the Lord gave him.  Paul’s mission is no different from what all children of the Lord are supposed to do, and that is to share the good news gospel. We can share the gospel best by not quoting scripture or memorizing the Bible, but by telling others what the gospel has done for you and I. God saved a wretch sinner like Paul, and he has done the same for me. Paul had fellowship with Pharisee Jews for many years, but when he accepted Jesus as Lord, he became their enemy. When I found Jesus, my family and friend couldn’t accept nor believe it because of my reckless youth. My church is fellowship with hardly support me of sharing the gospel. I share my teaching with them, but nothing from them. My most significant support is from people I have never seen in person. Such as my sister Yousaf Taj from Pakistan, my brother Aliyu Yahaya  Auta from Nigeria, and my precious friend Ritika Rasal from India. Like the apostle Paul, you, and I, but not give glory to others. I thank God for the faithfulness of those who hear my testimony, and I thank God for the testimony they share with me. To share the gospel, we must be like the apostle Paul, for thanks and glory to God for saving us and allowing us the share His good news gospel message. God bless you all; the Lord Jesus loves you, and so do I. Samuel Jerry Head.

1 Corinthians 15:9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.
