Revelation 18:2 Bird Markings
The message of the book of Revelation is the same message of the Old and New Testaments. The angel of God in Revelation 18 delivers a gospel message, all nations will fall, and only God’s kingdom will remain. Even if the Antichrist’s name isn’t in the book of Revelation, his spirit and teaching are, but he falls. The Devil of the Old Testament is the Satan of the New Testament. The Yahweh/God of the Old Testament is the Jesus/Yeshua of the New Testament. The unclean spirit of the Old Testament is the demons of the New Testament. The unclean animals of the Old Testament are still foul of the New Testament. Sin in the Old Testament is still disobedience of the New Testament. Holy in the Old Testament is still sacred in the New Testament. Sadly, many followers of God either reject the Old or New Testament, and sadly, that is their problem and not the Lord’s. Sometimes little children or even younger siblings will say funny things or ask silly questions. Once when my family and I were traveling down the road, we saw some buzzards eating some roadkill. My youngest sister Susie asked my mother, “Momma, if one buzzard gets run over and killed when the other buzzard eats it?” My mother laughed, and so did my other siblings. My mother’s reply was, “You know what, honey? I believe so.” The unclean animals of the earth were made to keep the planet clean. That is why birds like vultures, and buzzards, eat decaying animals. Other scavengers of the world, like pigs and mice on the ground, catfish, and sharks on the water, eat what they eat. If demons recognize unclean spirits, and unclean animals know they are still detestable. Why do some Christians question if the God of the Old Testament is still the Lord of the New Testament and that all His words are still good from Genesis to Revelation and none of it has been done away with?
