Revelation 16:8-9

8 And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given power to scorch people with fire. 9 And the people were scorched with fierce heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.

Most religions believe the world will end in a judgment day event. Even non-religious people prepare themselves for doomsday. The non-religious world has a definition for doomsday which is global catastrophic risks. There is a list of catastrophic risks of global nuclear war, a meteorite or comet impact, famine, pandemic, and even alien invasion. A black hole is an evidence that a big star, such as the sun, has exploded, which science calls a supernova. Most scientists know the sun will explode one day, and all life on earth will end when it does. Science cannot predict when it will happen, but it knows that the increased sun activity believes it will happen soon. Sun storms or solar flares do plenty of damage to the earth. It will disrupt the satellites that orbit the earth. It disrupts the weather of the earth and causes severe storms. Unlike thunderstorms, hurricanes,  blizzards, or a soon-coming rain shower, solar flares cannot be predicted. Plenty of meteorites burn the earth’s atmosphere and impact the planet but never do much damage on a global scale. The sun is more visible than God and has been worshiped as a deity for ages. One of the plagues God released on Egypt was blocking the sunlight for three days. The Egyptians did not enjoy it and asked Moses to tell God; please let the sunshine again. When Christ died on the cross, God the Father blocked the sunlight for hours. A roman guard witnessed that event and even declared that surely Jesus is the Son of God.

Exodus 10:21 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Reach out with your hand toward the sky, so that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even a darkness which may be felt.” 22 So Moses reached out with his hand toward the sky, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt for three days. 23 They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but all the sons of Israel had light in their dwellings. 24 Then Pharaoh called for Moses, and said, “Go, serve the Lord; only let your flocks and your herds be left behind. Even your little ones may go with you.”

Luke 23:45 because the sun stopped shining; and the veil of the temple was torn in two. 46 And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into Your hands I entrust My spirit.” And having said this, He died. 47 Now when the centurion saw what had happened, he began praising God, saying, “This man was in fact innocent.”

Matthew 5:45 so that you may prove yourselves to be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Like so many who have worshipped the visible sun for ages, their hearts are dark to the power of the invisible God. They give praise the sun for the light it shines on earth. They believe the sun causes all the vegetation on earth to grow. They believe the sun provides warm weather and daylight just to see. Lots of sun god’s rituals have become part of Christianity.  Winter Solstice holidays were adopted as Christmas, and Christians worldwide celebrate it as Christ’s birthday. The first day of the week was named Sunday because it is the beginning of the new week. Therefore, to make Romans happy, who worship the god and Christ Jesus, the Sabbath was moved from the 7th day to the first day of the week. Roman Catholic Church officials did this, not God, nor did any apostle of Christ move the Sabbath day. For ages, God has shown the world His loving mercy and grace. He has blessed those who worship Him and those who did not with rain and sunshine.

Matthew 5:45 so that you may prove yourselves to be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

The book of Revelation prophesies that God’s loving mercy and grace will end. The day of judgment is to reveal who controls the sun and all the elements of creation. The Lord wants to honor those who thanked Him for being the true light of life. God will end the lives who worshipped false gods or just worshipped falsely. So the Lord releases the destructive power of the sun. Most life on earth comes to a burning, painful end; they refuse to repent but only curse God while they perish. Do you worship God as the giver of the light of life? Do you worship Him, His way or your way? Are you ready for judgment day or waiting for some heavenly visible warning? The word of God is a warning of what is coming. If you are not ready because you believe the false prophecy, the Lord will not blame the church or the false prophet you believed. If the Holy Bible is not proof enough for you, God is real; the sun and the rest of creation is evidence enough that God is who He says He is. God bless you all; the Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, loves you, and so do I. His bondservant Samuel Jerry Head.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be discovered. 11 Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
