Revelation 1:6 Holy Precious Marks

Revelation 1:6

and He made us into a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

When a person becomes a child to the  God Almighty, they are supposed to make it their life mission to love the Lord, others and keep His commandments. To be a priest, prophet, pastor, rabbi, disciple, teacher, bishop, apostle, fisher of men, or even a witness for the Lord means to share the love of God, and His gospel, to everyone we meet. If a bondservant of the Lord does not share his or her faith, they are just really hurting their own relationship with God. Even since I started sharing God’s word in diverse ways, I have seen my walk with the Lord become more intense. Before, my Christian life was about attending church, trying to obey God’s word, and maybe paying my tithe from time to time. Most of the workers of God were shepherds, farmers, or even just fishermen. These professions do something that someone else needs and enjoys. Shepherds raise sheep to provide meat or wool, farmers grow crops and more animals to provide for others. Fishermen catch seafood to provide meals for people who like tasty fish. A shepherd gets to see people enjoy the lamb meat or wool. He provides for them, same as a fisherman witnesses others enjoy the seafood they sell to them, and farmers are essential to the world.

John 4:10 Jesus replied to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” 11 She *said to Him, “Sir, You have no bucket and the well is deep; where then do You get this living water? 12 You are not greater than our father Jacob, are You, who gave us the well and drank of it himself, and his sons and his cattle?” 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again; 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty, but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water so that I will not be thirsty, nor come all the way here to draw water.” 16 He said to her, “Go, call your husband and come here.”

John 7:37” Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38 The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He said in reference to the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Stagnate is water does not flow, it is not moving, like a puddle of mud, and if water doesn’t flow, it will smell bad. A Christian who does not share their faith, or the living water message, their relationship with the Lord, will stagnate. On the day of judgment, a person will receive a reward of everlasting life, if they love God, kept His word, share His gospel, and did their duty to gain souls for the kingdom of heaven. I know many Christians, who only have devotion to God, are on a day of worship, and maybe saying a blessing at mealtime. But if a person does not share God’s glory, they forsake their own glory. If you and I truly love the Lord, we will share the good news of His gospel love, so that many of the earth can be saved as well. God bless you all, Jesus the Lord loves you and so do I. His bondservant, Samuel H.

Deuteronomy 7:6 For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His personal possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

1 Peter 2:4 And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by people, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, 5 you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For this is contained in Scripture: “Behold, I am laying in Zion a choice stone, a precious cornerstone, And the one who believes in Him will not be put to shame.” 7 This precious value, then, is for you who believe; but for unbelievers, “A stone which the builders rejected, This became the chief cornerstone,” 8 and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense”; for they stumble because they are disobedient to the word, and to this they were also appointed. 9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10 for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.
