Revelation 14:10-11 Fire and Brimstone Mark
The judgment and destruction of those who worship the beast are similar to the judgment and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. The Biblical passage I like to use in Genesis chapter 18 and 19, in 18, 3 men or messengers visit Abraham. The Lord and Abraham have a friendship-type relationship, Abraham has a nephew, (Lot) living in Sodom and Gomorrah. The Lord, tell Abraham, He plans to judge Sodom and Gomorrah, evil and wicked ways.
Abraham interceded, for the people of Sodom and Gomorrah, asking if God found any righteous start with 50 people all the way down 10, would God spare the whole city if only 10 righteous live there. God listened to Abraham’s request and agreed with him. Messengers of God visit Sodom and Gomorrah and Lot sees them and recognizes they were from God. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah also visited their town. The residents of Sodom wanted cruel perverted things to God’s messengers, Lot said no, and wanted to protect his visitors. The wicked men would not take no for an answer, and Lot wasn’t strong enough for them and tried to break their way in Lot’s house, so the messengers of God, made the evil men go blind. Then the messenger of God saw enough and told Lot to take his family and leave the city, cause the Lord is going to destroy it.
When the sun was high in the sky, the Lord wanted to make sure all of Sodom and Gomorrah, the Lord rained down fire and brimstone. Everyone who listened to the warning from God, was left alive, Lot’s wife, had a doubt, looked back, and she perished. When woke up saw the smoke and fire coming from the now destroyed city, but God hadn’t forgotten Abraham’s prayers and saved His nephew.
Now the smoke of Sodom and Gomorrah, cannot be seen here and now, or has been in a while. The city of Sodom and Gomorrah, cannot be seen, nor does anyone ever know where it is. There are no remains whatsoever, and the same will go for those who worship the beast and refuse to listen to the warnings of God’s word. The word of God says that belief in Him gives life, John 3:16, those who don’t will perish, and the wages of sin is death, Romans 6:23. If there is anyone everlasting, forever and forever from disobey and disbelief in God, the person or place, existence will be done away with. As for me, I will worship the Lord and not the beast and choose life, what is your choice. God bless you all, the Lord Jesus loves you and so do I, Samuel J H.
