Revelation 1:4 The Spirit Of God Mark
The book of revelation is like most books of the New Testament, from Romans all the way to revelation. They are letters or epistles to different churches that the apostles had formed. If anyone wants to be concerned about where these churches are located, they should not. The book of Romans, James, or Corinth were like chains of letters, that were passed from church to church. These holy letters from the apostles of Jesus were read to the church’s congregation. The letters were copied then forwarded to other churches. As Christianity grew, these letters were put together, with Old Testament books, the four gospels, the thirteen letters of Paul, and now the modern world has the complete Holy Bible. The book of revelation likes repeating the number seven many times. Seven is God’s word, a spiritual, holy number that means complete and perfect. A perfect example of seven being whole and sacred can be seen in creation, in that God created the heavens and earth in six days and was done on the seventh. So that Lord, saw He had done was good, rested on the seventh day, called it a holy day, and called it a Sabbath day to remember.
Genesis 1:31 And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. Genesis 2:1 And so the heavens and the earth were completed, and all their heavenly lights. 2 By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because on it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
The seven spirits of God make Jesus who He is, a righteous judge and King of kings. A righteous person might have a few of seven spirits, but only the Lord Himself has all seven. What are the seven spirits a child of God might ask? Well, the Holy Bible gives that answer?
The holy Son of God needs these seven spirits to make a righteous judgment on the last day. The spirit of wisdom, to make sure a saint is godly, and the sinner is just wicked. The spirit of understanding, He knows sin cannot last forever. The spirit of counsel, the Lord, always listens. The spirit of knowledge, the Lord, is the creator of heaven and earth, the giver of life and death. In the spirit of fear, the Lord knows His place and His role in the universe. With those seven spirits, the Lord judges not with eyesight, nor at how wealthy or poor a person may be, but solely if a person loves the Lord, with all their heart, mind, body, and soul. Are you part of the Lord’s church, my brothers and sisters? Do you understand the Lord is a holy and acceptable judge and merciful God? Are you ready for judgment day? If you need help, reach out to me? God bless you all, the Lord Jesus loves you, and so do I. His bondservant, Samuel Head.
