Revelation 13:15-16 The Mark and Sign Of Worship

Revelation 13:15-16

15 And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause all who do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 And he causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,

For everything, the Lord has to represent Him; the devil has something similar or different and is a counterfeit. The book of Genesis, the beginning of God’s word, tells those who read or study why the Lord is God Almighty of all creation. The Lord has one identity that no one else can do or even come close to, He is the Maker of heaven and earth and all of creation. On the seventh day, the Lord knew He was done with all that had to be done so He rested and made the seventh day holy, which means to set it apart from the other six days of the week and name the seventh day the sabbath.

Genesis 2:2  By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it because He rested from all His work that God had created and made.

The seventh day was a day of worship and the sabbath in the Holy Bible, Jesus remembers it in Luke 4:16-17, Jews and Gentiles together remember the sabbath and worship together in a house of God. So for many years God’s people, both Jews, Gentile remember the sabbath and they knew the holy seventh day was meant for all of God’s creation and all of His people to remember He is God of creation.

Acts 13:42 So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. 43 Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. 44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

When the Antichrist power form and t is the false church of the Roman Catholic Church it made changes in what are God’s commandments and one of them was to change or move the day of worship from the seventh day of the week to the first day, which is why so many Christian churches now keep the first day, Sunday and many call it the Lord’s day. The changing of the sabbath from Saturday to Sunday happen On March 7, 321, and that is a historical fact. Many Christian believe when Jesus rises from the tomb on the first day of the week, that He made Sunday the sabbath, but that isn’t recorded or written anywhere in God’s word. The seventh Sabbath is a sign of worship between Him, the Holy Bible says this many times.

Ezekiel 20:12  Also I gave them My Sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them so that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

Ezekiel 20:20 Sanctify My Sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between Me and you, so that you may know that I am the Lord your God.’

Many Christians, that means rich or poor, are keeping Sunday as the Sabbath and forgetting what the 4th commandments say, even if it’s not Biblical. Much Christian say, the Sabbath can be any day of the week, you or I want to cause Jesus to rest and any or every day is the Sabbath but did you or I make heaven or earth? Many Christians are fearful of microchips or barcodes or even the COVID-19 vaccine being the mark of the beast and his worship sign but the true mark of false worship is very old and many either still worship or knee on that day, all because of a lie by the deceive, Satan. Exodus 31:12  Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 13 “Now as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘You must keep My Sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, so that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you. 14 Therefore you are to keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Everyone who profanes it must be put to death; for whoever does any work on it, that person shall be cut off from among his people.
