Revelation 1:10-12 The Mark of the Spirit

Revelation 1:10-12

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet, 11 saying, “Write on a scroll what you see, and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.” 12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And after turning I saw seven golden lampstands:

Ever since I started reading and studying God’s word more intently, my understanding of scripture has increased. I started the mark of the beast, or book of Revelation, Bible teaching blogs, because I dislike all the delusional lies taught and believed about Christ’s second coming. A person needs a loving relationship with the Lord so that the Holy Spirit will help them know God and His word. Most of the falsehoods taught and believed about the book of Revelation and end-time events evolve around trying to understand it with physical and literal meaning. Falsehoods like Israel is a physical land where Abraham was told to go by God, and the rest of Israel was supposed to dwell there. Another false physical belief is that the ancient Jews and even modern are God’s people, and by DNA, they are chosen. The mark of the beast is believed by many to be a physical mark, like tattoo barcodes, or microchip placed beneath the skin, or a vaccine could have 666 with the medicine of an injection. The Christian church will spare tribulation times years before Jesus returns. During that time, literal Jews may repent and accept Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of God, but that is false. If a person reads scripture, especially the gospel, Jesus told Jewish and non-Jewish people, God is Spirit, and to worship and know Him with physical understanding will achieve anything.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.” 9 Nicodemus responded and said to Him, “How can these things be?” 10 Jesus answered and said to him, “You are the teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things?

John 4:20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and yet you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one must worship.” 21 Jesus said to her, “Believe Me, woman, that a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, because salvation is from the Jews. 23 But a time is coming, and even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

Reading and studying scripture is what a child of God is supposed to do; it is like a warrior sharpening his sword, preparing their weapon for battle. It is like an athlete preparing themselves to compete and win. The word of God removes all guesses as to what the mark of the beast is, who Israel or who God’s chosen are, and the promised land or heavenly paradise is nowhere on planet earth. When you and I know the Lord’s voice and word, you and I will know for sure what will happen and that sign of the time is pointing to His soon coming. 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and now it is already in the world. 4 You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore, they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. The one who knows God listens to us; the one who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
