Psalm 22:30-31 Children Of the Messiah

Psalm 22:30-31

30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. 31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.

The first man and woman created by God, lived in paradise until they believed a lie and when they sinned against God word, the penalty of death entered the world. Trials and tribulation became a part of life and the first evidence of that is when Adam and Eve, their  youngest son was killed by their older son, (Genesis 4:1-8). Suffering and death of children was not experienced at time, and Eve was very grateful when Cain was born and even thanked God for her son.

Genesis 4:1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

Surely Adam and Eve loved their  God had given them and regretted the mistake they made in the paradise of Eden. If they were obedient, Abel wouldn’t be buried in the ground and Cain wouldn’t be forced to leave . Psalm 22:30-31, says  a seed will serve Him, the word seed means, children or descendants and Psalm 22 is prophecy of the Messiah coming to die for the sins of Adam and Eve and their children, but does that everyone their physical children that was to be born. Numerous Biblical leaders of scripture had children that were disobedient. Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu, worship God incorrectly and He killed them,  (Leviticus 10:1-3). King David’s son Absalom, totally rebelled against  his father, wanted to kill him and make himself king of Israel, (2 Samuel 15). These are a couple examples of great fathers of the Bible whose physical children that lifestyle wasn’t righteous.  Jesus the Messiah told His  disciples, who exactly is a part of His family and that mean children also.

Matthew 12:50 For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother, and sister, and mother.”

Luke 8:21 But He answered and said to them, “My mother and My brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.”

As the last days seem to be coming upon us, we all have family members we love and want to see in the kingdom of heaven. My mom prays for my brother and sisters, she prayers for my nephews and niece,  to give their lives to Jesus. She wants them to have the gift of  eternal life in paradise that is in heaven, that only comes knowing and believing in Christ Jesus. I have the same hope and prayers for my family members, I share my love for Jesus and the gospel with my loved ones and with many others. Let’s all do our part, to gain more and more children to the family of God and tell them that they are loved more than they can imagine. God bless you all, Jesus the Savior of the world loves you and so do I. Samuel J Head

1 John 3:9  No one who has been born of God practices sin, because His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin continually, because he has been born of God. 10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother and sister. 11 For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we are to love one another; 12 not as Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And for what reason did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil, but his brother’s were righteous.
