Proverbs 8:22-31 Because He Loved His Children First
When I was between 12 to 14, I join the Boy Scouts of American to have a little fun with other boys my age and learn a few things. I think the joining fee was like a quarter a club meeting and a free Boys Life magazine, making news, going camping once in a while, and different events were all part of the package. The Boy Scouts had a motto, Be Prepared they taught very heavily and even the Girl Scouts teach the same motto. To be prepared they taught me how to tie different knots but all I can remember is the square and taut-line hitch. I was taught it was handy to have a swiss army knife, they taught first aid, how to put out a start and put out a fire. Taught how to sew patches, camp in all kinds of weather conditions. I had plenty of fun times and made neat friends. My Scoutmaster, George Trakas was very good to me and even drove the family car for my father’s funeral service. The Lord is like a scoutmaster but He doesn’t tell us to be prepare, He prepared salvation for all His children the creations of His holy hands. This Bible passages say before the foundation of creation, that is, Genesis 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and God separated the light from the darkness.. The Lord knew the men and women He created were weak, He wanted our love to be all about free will and personal choice, cause force love isn’t real. This Bible passage takes how the wisdom of God’s foundation is more solid than the strong mountain peaks or long mountain ranges. No amount of the earth’s body of water, no matter how deep or never stop flowing, can compare to the neverending compassion love of our God. Good-loving parents might set up a saving account for education or whatever, for their child, even before they are born or when mom is expecting a child. But the Lord our Father God made a payment of your and my salvation, not just here and now, but for all creation, past and future. How great is the foundation of our Father God, the mountain melt like wax in the presence of the Lord Almighty, the ocean saltwater and rivers, lakes, and stream water will turn to vapor or steam and escape into the air. All of that will disappear, when judgment day comes, all of the creation of Genesis chapter 1 will be destroyed and the only be alive and last after that day, it the children of God who accepted His gift of salvation, His Son, Jesus Christ which He made available before He ever said, Let the be light, the light of life was in already available in His gift His only begotten Son, can you say, Hallelujah and AMEN. God bless you all, the Lord of all creation loves you and so do I, Samuel J H.
