Proverbs 7:14-18

14 “ I was due to offer peace offerings;” Today I have paid my vows. 15 Therefore I have come out to meet you, To seek your presence diligently, and I have found you. 16 I have spread my couch with coverings, With colored linens of Egypt. 17 I have sprinkled my bed With myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. 18 Come, let’s drink our fill of love until morning; Let’s delight ourselves with caresses.

As a single man, I am very often, and almost on a daily basis, I am targeted by a romance scam internet artist. It can very seductive when a beautiful woman, sends a message, “ Saying hey handsome, are you single?” Some are very obvious, especially if she looks like a supermodel, then there are some that are not so attractive or just cute. They want to make you and I feel special, saying we could have a relationship, get married, and have lovely children with a big happy home. Usually, it takes a day or two before they ask you for a gift, like what I hear is an Amazon or stream gift card, or they want your cellphone carrier information or bank account information. Ladies are targeted by scammers also, a person who pretends to be a handsome gentleman may notice a lonely lady, and give her attention, make her feel special. As goes by, the scammer will gain the woman’s trust and slowly but surely drain her of life savings and died broke. Proverbs chapter 7, is repeating what scripture says all over the word of God, hey My children, what for that forbidden fruit that in the center of the garden of Eden, it leads to death and destruction. When we read the word of God, it tells the forbidden fruit on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was very pleasing to the eyesight.

Genesis 2:9 Out of the ground the Lord God caused every tree to grow that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Satan is the father of sin, he watches our eyesight and sees what we desire, he will whisper in your eyes, yummy that forbidden fruit, ( that sexy beautiful lady isn’t so bad, that charming husband clever smooth-talking man, really does love you ), go take a bite. A harlot prostitute love is empty and meaningless and if you read the words of Proverbs 7:14-18, it is a lot like a one of big country-western hits song from Jeanne Pruett from 1973, “ Satin Sheets.” The lyric of the songs, she the lady find herself in an empty relationship, she has satins on her bed, big long Cadillac, tailor-made clothes to wear. Her lover lavish her with money, but she still empty, her man’s love feels empty and she cries on sheet pillows at night and begs to be set free of this empty and meaningless relationship. A real relationship is with the Father God, Lord Jesus Christ the lover of the souls that love Him. Do your a favor and read the love letter of God that is in the Holy Bible ( Daily). Ask the Lord, chase Him with all your love and passion, them Him you desire and want His meaningful conditional love. Tell the Father God today, you are ready to tie the knot with Him and ready to have an everlasting loving relationship with One who truly knows you and me, body and soul.
