Proverbs 3:27 Wages For Labor Is Godly Wisdom

Proverbs 3:27

27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due When it is in your power to do it.

The wisdom of God in the Old Testament is the same as the New Testament and all of it says to love God, love others, obey Him and He will be your God. Many who dwell only in the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John may not know many of Jesus’ teaching were out of the Old Testament.  Shortly after my father’s death, I knew a man named Ralph he gave me jobs with him. He was a handyman, that did home repairs, like plumbing, roofing, or carpenter work. When it came time to get my pay, I never got all of my pay, or I have to remind him I need the money I earned. If Ralph was a Christian I didn’t know, his wife Linda wasn’t a believer but was very smart, but mostly in the New Age way. They were good people in a worldly manner, but  Ralph would hide liquor bottles at different parts of his house, and Linda most of the time had to be right about everything. In a worldly manner, most people believe they deserve honest pay for their labor, most honest employers want to give their employees their deserved wages. Greed does exist in the hearts of worldly people, so selfish people will either short-change their employees or not pay them all. All over the world sweatshop slave labor exists, clothing items are made by a laborer who gets paid very little for very long hours.  Most of the countries where slave labor exists and those that don’t allow religion like Christianity to be practiced, and have no government of those countries, really don’t care about citizen rights or equal pay. Another  form of forced labor is the practice of kidnapping young children and even family members forcing a younger family member into sex labor. This illegal practice is on a global scale but dates back to the ancient  Greek and Roman Empires. People of the world demand equal pay for equal labor and even demand equal treatment for all walks of life, no matter what races, religion who the people what to love. During the spring and summer of 2020, the phase, “ No Justice. No Peace, “ was heard during many protests. Guess what brothers and sisters of the Lord, there will be no equal treatment or equal love for one another as long the devil is alive and people who want to do what is right in their own eyes exist. God bless you all, Jesus the Prince of Peace loves you and so do I. Samuel H.

Deuteronomy 24:14  “You shall not exploit a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your countrymen or one of your strangers who are in your land in your towns. 15 You shall give him his wages on his day before the sun sets—for he is poor and sets his heart on it—so that he does not cry out against you to the Lord, and it becomes a sin in you.
