Proverbs 1:8-12 Honor Parents, and Other Parents Children’s

Proverbs 1:8-13

8  My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not reject the teaching of your mother. 9 For they are a garland of grace on your head, And chains and ornaments [of gold] around your neck. 10 My son, if sinners entice you, Do not consent. 11 If they say, “Come with us; Let us lie in wait to shed blood, Let us ambush the innocent without cause; 12 Let us swallow them alive like Sheol (the place of the dead), Even whole, as those who go down to the pit [of death];

The words of a loving father are full of wisdom for 9 month and she felt your heartbeat inside her. So both mother and father say, “ My son, my  daughter, my, you are flesh of our flesh, parts of your DNA  and existence of a product of our and our passion is that you live a long healthy life, full of blessings,” King Solomon repeats the words his father wrote in the book of ( Psalm 111:10 )  the fear of God is the beginning wisdom is fearing Him, and following His commandments. Two of God’s commandments are within the Bible passage of Proverbs 1:8-13 and by practicing both, mother, father and God are honor, then a promise of long life is given and a life full of blessings.

Exodus 20:12  “Honor (respect, obey, care for) your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged in the land the Lord your God gives you. 13 “You shall not commit murder (unjustified, deliberate homicide).

The conversation between parents and the child in Proverbs 1:8-13, is my child, honor your parents and your life will be a true reward. A reward to your mother and father and an honor to the world of people who live around you. When you listen to the words of a foolish individual and go kill someone, you are rubbing other parents of their child they love. Even if the person you murdered has no living parents, that person might have a wife or husband, or son or daughter. Even if the person you kill has no living relatives, don’t go kill an innocent person, and who are you to say anyone is guilty or innocent and really shed anyone blood and take away their gift of life.  Yesterday I shared my blog on a different website and one man commented that the book of Proverbs only applies to Israel, and I quoted the verse from Hebrews to this person.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is [eternally changeless, always] the same yesterday and today and forever.

Now this guy, somehow believes the God of the Old Testament is different the New, and by what he say, the commandments of not honoring your parents and murdering people, is completely okay when the book of Matthew stated , and the books Malachi all the way to Genesis is not doesn’t apply anymore only to Israel. This a sad belief for anyone to have to accept, that one set of rules made by the Father of creation doesn’t apply to all the children of the world God made. It is this kind of beliefs like that that helps those who read the whole Bible from Genesis to the maps beyond Revelation, who know exactly why the Lord will come and the sign of coming. In the last days people will be taught the religion that disobedience is acceptable and the law means absolutely nothing. Just like today, on February 2nd of 2021, two FBI agents were killed three other wounded while they were serving warrants for a child pornography case. When people believe in the religion of lawlessness and not teaching children how to honor and respect parents or anyone else, the Lord will have to come and save His children from the children of the devil. God bless you all, the Lord loves you and so do I. Samuel J Head.

2 Timothy 3:1- But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, 3 [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them.
