Proverbs 11:27 Honor Among The Evil
One who diligently seeks good seeks favor, but one who seeks evil, evil will come to him.
Just because a person is behind bars and doing time, they will stay bad. Criminals can sometimes find, God behind bars. They are led to repentance, then become a child of God. Bibles are usually handed out free if an inmates request one. Because of prison ministries, church services will happen in jails and prison and even if inmates are not a Christian, he or she will use church worship to get out their cell. Some prisoners know their crimes were evil and want or will try to better themselves. If prisoners see another inmate that is proud of their crimes or learn that they did harm to children, that criminal is not very well-liked. Some criminals will do a crime out of desperation, like steal money, if they are hungry and broke, but there is no excuse for breaking a crime. Sex-offenders have no excuse, they are seen as sick perverts to inmates and prison staff alike. Even if it is not pretty, criminals will give their own kinds of justice to other criminals. Prison guards are there just for a job, and it is not very pleasant for them, but a way to get income. The prison guards will give inmates respect and demand it. Jeffrey Dahmer the serial killer and sex offender was found guilty in 1992 and sentenced to life in prison, His crimes were evil beyond evil for even other criminals, committing acts of cannibalism with his victims. Prison staff knows that very evil criminals will get harsh punishment from other prisoners, so they will try to protect them. The prison inmates are watching and waiting for an opportunity to release their kinds of justice and get revenge for innocent victims. Christopher Scarver Sr. was serving prison same time as Dahmer, he had bad luck and killed a man, who promise him payment. When his job was done, he was not paid and got upset, he was given$15 and demand the amount he was promised. He was refused, so killed his employer and got a life sentence. To Christopher, Jeffery Dahmer’s crimes were just too hideous. Being sent to prison really did not change Dahmer, inmates say he would make his meal look like human body parts and eat them. Everyone knew his crimes were, Dahmer’s evil look too evil. Jeffery Dahmer was supposed to be on heavy guard so he would not get hurt by other prisoners. Once on work detail, Christopher and Dahmer were cleaning a bathroom together. Christopher had a newspaper clipping of Dahmer’s crime. When the guards left them alone, Christopher walked up to Jeffery, pull out his clipping, and said, did you do these crimes, and Dahmer proudly said, “yes,’ and laugh. Since the prison guards were gone for some odd reason, Christopher beat Jeffery, to death, he was already serving a life sentence, so it did not matter to him. All sins have consequences, even I was reckless and do not have a driver’s license, because I broke the law. I met some nice guys and jail, and they showed me respect, once I did meet a man, which was really disturbing. We talked about Jesus, and later he went crazy and ask jail guards to take him away because he did not want to hurt himself or even me. So please my brothers and sisters, pray for those who are in prison or jail. Some know they have done wrong and really want help, and plus many have families who they love, and God loves criminals as well. God bless you all, Jesus Christ loves you and so do I.
