Proverbs 10:31-32 The Wise Answer
Many educated people questioned the existence of God and these are scientists, inventors, and great teachers. In 2002 a book was released that put two men’s ideas and beliefs about God, love, sex, and the meaning of life. The two men were Sigmund Freud and CS Lewis, and both men were well educated and wise, one an atheist and the other a Christian, so they both represent the far extreme is God real or not. Freud was born and raised by Jewish parents, and he went to school to study; his main field of study was Psychoanalysis which is mental health issues. C S Lewis was a British writer and a theologian; most of his books were on religion. He was also a teacher and different colleges and universities. Freud’s idea on religion served a purpose in the early parts of earth history. Still, he also believes that advances in technology improve life, and God or religion is no longer needed, cause God was a fairytale. CS Lewis was born in a Christian home but at the age 15 of he became an atheist. Later in life, Lewis returned back to God, cause so many were witnessing him and his Bible study. Sigmund Freud starts the most mental health issues come from subconscious desires of sex, which will make them act impulsively or aggressively. Freud said the best way to treat a mentally ill person is by letting them talk and getting it off their chest. Many of Sigmeud’s personal writings are strange and perverted. Adolf Hitler told Nazis to burned Freud’s books saying they were pornographic. C.S Lewis’s relationship with God was so unique that during WWII, Lewis would speak on British radio, the word of God, to help people relaxing as Germany was bombing England. Unlike the many who question Freud’s perverted words, the citizen and military of England love to hear Lewis’s voice on the radio when the enemy was trying to kill them. The wisdom of God makes our words pleasant for others and not walk away. If we truly believe in Him, it will show in many ways. God bless you all, the Lord Jesus loves you, and so do I, Samuel J H.
